Great Service - Great Price!

I am thrilled with this salon! Not only does Brooke do a fabulous job with my hair (which is curly, and many stylists have issues with curly hair), but she's friendly, her salon is comfortable, and her prices are reasonable. I would recommend her without hesitation!

This salon saved my hair

When I first went to Brooke to have my hair done it was a mess. My brown roots were inches grown out and my ends were over blonde. My ends were breaking off. I was surprised that in one visit my color was back to normal and she gave me beautiful highlights. She took the time to sit down with me and look at colors and pictures of hairstyles. Now my hair is in the best condition its been in a long time. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Meh, nothing special besides a good price

Having recently moved to Pittsburgh for school, I began searching around for an local salon with similar atmosphere and talent to mine at home. I decided upon one owned by two sisters and possessing reasonable prices, a good online rating, and an almost identical design and feel as mine, albeit about half the size. While it wasn't ""bad"" in the least, there was undoubtedly gulfs of difference in the quality of styling skills and ""above-and-beyond"" customer attentiveness between here and my home one. My biggest disappointment came early on as I was getting my hair shampooed. They used no towel nor apron to protect my clothes (admittedly, not that big of a deal for me) and placed my neck bare against the basin cut-out, which had some kind of weird bump that pressed into my spine and that I'm still sore from. And the actual shampooing was the worst one I've ever had, I swear the lady barely touched my hair, much less any part of my head; I've had better massages from my cat accidentally walking on me. But I digress. Thankfully, it did get a bit better from then on. The stylist was polite and chatty and the workspace comfortable and clean, though no evidence of drinks or hot towels. The actual haircut was decent, mainly because I took a few cell phone pictures of my hair right after I got it cut last time. The stylist reproduced it fairly accurately, though more sterile and academic and lacking my salon's subtle stylish nuances that I didn't even fully notice until now. I suppose the best part about the experience was the price, $15 men's cut, due to Pittsburgh being cheaper overall than Dallas.
