The PVSEC Cancer Center combines all aspects of cancer treatment and diagnostics under one roof. Often, a combination of multiple types of treatments is the most effective way to obtain the best possible outcome. Diagnostic services include advanced on-site imaging to obtain digital x-rays, ultrasound, and CT and MRI for diagnosing, staging, and planning treatment. Treatments available include surgery to diagnose and remove tumors; medical oncology to treat residual or metastatic disease with chemotherapy, immunotherapy (such as the melanoma vaccine), or molecular therapy (such as Palladia); and radiation.
