Covelli Law Offices

I used Covelli Law Offices for my Living Will and Power of Attorney. I was extremely satisfied with the service I was provided. I'm surprised by the previous reviews as I thought the staff and Joe Covelli in particular were all very friendly, and went out of the way to make me feel comfortable. They answered all of my questions in a timely fashion and their fees were quite reasonable. I would recommend their services to anyone in need of a good attorney!

I used Covelli for a real estate matter. It was a private sale on a house. JoeCovelli himself met with me. He was not even knowledgeable about mortgage terms and he had me call my mortgage company myself and ask questions on a few occasions instead of doing his own research.



He also asked me to email the agreement to him that the seller sent.

A week and a half later, he emailed the agreement back with copy and pasted red font and strikeout over the changes in the agreement. It was a Microsoft Word disaster and extremely unprofessional in appearance



When the seller did not agree to the updated agreement and sent us another in return, I emailed Covelli to ask for a second read to make sure it was okay to sign. I never received an answer.



A month later they emailed me from the firm asking if I had completed the sale of the house and then sent me an invoice in the mail that states that they charge $200 an hour and that I didn't owe them anything for that email.



We basically paid for cursory work. I don't recommend them for anything and I don't believe that they even deserve one star.

This law firm is extremely unreasonable about their fee's and cost. They are not friendly at all. I was treated as if they were all better than me and talked down to me. I wasn't treated with the respect as a paying client should have. They charged me for things that were so unreasonable. This firm seems to be only interested in the money they were going to receive and not worried about anything else. I would advise anyone to stay away from this firm!
