WONDERFUL place take your dogs

My dogs absolutely loved Camp Bow Wow when we lived in Pittsburgh. I only wish that we still lived there now so I had such a clean, fun, and safe place to take them. The staff is wonderful and they really take the time to get to know your dogs. The web cams are a great addition so that you can view your dogs as they play or while they are boarded. I can't say enough good things about CBW Pittsburgh North! We miss it very much and I highly recommend it!

Franchise does not equal good experience.

WebCam service is offered here. Friendly director on site. No staff stay overnight with the pets!! Lots of packages and discounts that you would expect in a franchise business model. Grooming is cramped and when we toured dogs were left unattended in a drying room, caged, with forced air heaters blowing right in their face. Be sure to tour the chain link pens your dog will stay in overnight. Noisy, stressful, smelly kennel atmosphere. Outside experience is limited to a small, strong smelling, pea gravel area with chain link fencing. Creek runs through property in known flood plane. Inquire about emergency evacuation plan especially for overnight boarders. We didn't get a satisfactory answer. No outdoor walks or group play. Typical franchise standards, short on doggy well being. Again, you get what you pay for.

Great experience

I would like to express the delight in having a facility like Camp Bow Wow so close to my home. I can now leave me dog and be confident that he will be well cared for. Having the webcam to check on his day is really comforting.

The owners and staff were warm and friendly and obviously love dogs as much as we do. It is a very clean and well thought out facility, with just enough structure to keep them safe and not so much that they can?t really have fun. We have never felt comfortable leaving our dog with someone else until now. We will keep coming back and spreading the good news to our friends and neighbors.

Love Camp Bow Wow North

I have been taking my dog to Camp Bow Wow north for about 9 months now. I can't say enough good things about it. My dog is so happy on camp days, all we say is you want to go to camp and she runs to the door. The benefit for us is with a year old puppy that needs a lot of exercise is that when she comes home she is out for the night. Thank you camp bow wow!

P.S. the staff is the best!

I got a couple of free days he...

I got a couple of free days here when I adopted my dog so I decided to try it out when I was working a lot. My dog loves going here and gets lots of playtime with other dogs and always comes home pooped. And you can always watch your dog play on any computer! Staff is always friendly.

My dog loves Camp Bow Wow

Super place to take your dogs to have lots of fun and to be well taken care of. The people that work there are super nice, very caring and very accomodating. Couldn't find a better place for the money.

Camp Bow Wow is a great place to take your dogs! Considering how expensive it's getting to just "board" your pet - the extras (toys, play time etc) can really add up! At CBW it's all included! One thing is to make sure your dog passes their interview (which takes a couple of hours - meaning free playtime for your dog!) but after that they can go at any time for camp or boarding!

We LOVE the north Pittsburgh location and will use them ALL the time - the cost is incredibly reasonable and they PLAY all DAY! When you get your dogs back - it takes ours two days to recover - they are played out! Definately great even for just the day if you have guests coming over. we can't even say CAMP at our house without our dogs going crazy! The staff is SUPER helpful and friendly!

Highly Recommend! :)

Great Day

I recently began taking my two Boxers to Camp Bow Wow on Babcock Blvd. I met with the staff and they introduced my dogs to the group, eveything went smoothly and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. I was able to watch the dogs on the webcam from work and saw they were well taken care of and happy. When I went to pick them up the were excited to see me and happy.. They went home and slept.. worn out from their day. I would highly recommend Camp Bow Wow. It was a great day and there will be many more to follow!!
