I went through my home warranty plan, American Home Shield, to set up service with Tusky Best Service. Best Service called and made an appointment for 9 am to 12 pm Wednesday. At 8:30 Wednesday morning I get a call from the technician saying he can't wait any longer and has to reschedule. Not sure why he was there before my appointment. Next appointment was Friday 8:15 to 10 am. After waiting three hours, I call the technician at 11 and he says he can't make it there for another 3 hours. I couldn't stay that much longer so we schedule it for 4 that day. Never heard from him again that day. Not sure how they can manage to fix appliances when they're not even competent enough to keep appointments.

Overpriced,total ripoff do not use even if your house is falling down came to my house for a electric oven problem.After checking a few things no parts or anything to fix charged 90.00 trip charge,90 dollars for labor which I don't know what labor so a bill of 180.00 to tell me I need an electrician thanks for doing nothing.

They charged me saying they "fixed" my fridge. Later that day it was still broken. They came back the next day and said they needed to order a part which was supposed to be in last Friday. It is now Thursday- I cal every day asking if the part is in and every day he says he will call me back and he doesn't. I've already paid them over 200$ but we are a family of 6 and really just need a working fridge so I am going to have to look elsewhere for someone to actually fix it! I've never written a bad review online before but I just don't want anyone else to go thru this really frustrating experience. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

Bobs been out to my home 4 times over the past month or so failing to repair my fridge.

1st time ordered part

2nd time lost of electrical sparking and then a breaker blew. Bob said he's unable to repair due to Subzero shipping him a bad part?

3rd time out still unable to fix

4th time he was out he said he could not do the job because he left his tools at another job site.

It's been over a month now we have waited for Best appliance repair to fix our fridge and now we have to reschedule for a 5th time hoping he brings all his tools!

Save your self time and money don't use this company!

Seriously overcharged

I enlisted Tusk'y's Appliance to repair a leaking refridgerator and broken oven door. The office informed me that their labor is charged at $20 per quarter hour. I was charged $120 for EACH job ($240 in labor total) in addition to a $69.95 trip fee. Neither job took over 45 minutes! When I contacted Bob to complain about the labor charges, he admitted that they charge for a job based on how long they THINK it will take and if they can do it in less, so be it. This policy was never disclosed. He also basically said that if you have high-end appliances, they are going to charge more, regardless of how easy it is to fix. He refused to negotiate on the labor charge. He did not return calls or e-mails. I could have replaced either the fridge or oven for what I paid to repair them both! I would NOT recommend this business unless you can get a binding estomate in writing and I intend to report them to the BBB.
