I've used these LADIES for several years. ALWAYS polite and kind. I have never spent more than 10 minutes with these LASIES for my DMV problems. Helped with my CDL and hazmat renewal after a suspension to get it all done in one day with a camera card, then to actual DMV for picture. I procrastinate on vehicle registration. Last day before it expires and they get it done quickly. Efficient and knowledgeable. Even bought Girl Scout cookies (Thin Mints) last time I was there, 2/28/2014. Highly recommend ! ! ! ! !

I do business here on a weekly basis. Efficient and easy transactions. These guys are great when you have issues. Have helped some folks I know with suspensions and what not. These people highly recommended, Give Beth a Break!!

The ladies who run this notary shop are ruining this business. As soon as you meet them you'll instantly know why and what i mean by my comment.These notary girls who absolutely have had no success in their lives except to become a licensed notary are now self-proclaimed geniuses (of all subject matter). The over-confident trash continually remind you (the customer) that they are notary divas through their barage of snide and rude comments to you.Please don't dare ask any questions because the divas will attempt to make you feel like an idiot. And under no circumstances ever question them about notary protocol. They are all knowing and your questions are far beneath them to answer.Do yourself a favor. Stay out of their fantasy world. You enter their realm and they are empowered.

After another notary service in my area made so many mistakes on my truck title that I was disgusted, I took it to Altvaters; they fixed all the mistakes. The title came very quickly as well. Very knowledgable. I would definitely recommend them for title work.

Hmm, I was looking this place up for my grandmother who recently moved here. I'm shocked to see so many poor reviews. I used them in 2007 and had no idea what I needed to do but they were decent and helpful, no rudeness. But that was 4 years ago so maybe things went downhill.

As others have experienced, I was treated with extreme disrespect as soon as I went in to get a plate and title transfer. I was told that they had "stopped doing title and transfer 2 minutes ago" even though they were open for another hour. They then did it anyway while being extremely rude and disrespectful to the point that I wanted to leave. They did the same thing to the nice man who came in 5 minutes after me. I would not recommend it in any way unless you like being degraded for the whole transaction. And god forbid you have questions about anything or ask them to repeat what they said. Find somewhere else, they obviously don't like customers.

If you are looking to be insulted and treated with disrespect, then this is the place. The moment I walked into the door, I was directed with an indigent attitude as to why I was in need of their services. The whole transaction was painful (tags and title transfer). The ridicule, rude remarks, to the eye-rolling made me want to leave in the middle of the transaction. I like to consider myself an educated individual, however, you are treated as if you a bumbling fool. Also, I would like to mention that everyone that had passed through their door will I was there, was treated the same way. I will NEVER enter their door again, and will let everyone I know about the experience and the poor customer service I've received at Altvater Auto. To those seeking these types of services, I HIGHLY suggest googling another dealer/notary in the area.

Went to get my license transferred and registered, and the service was horrible, I was treated with ignorance and inconsideration. Will never go here again for anything.
