I was traveling with my son, xmas week to a snowy area. I reserved a SUV 2wks prior due to weather conditions and the holiday. 30 minutes before pickup I was told a SUV was not available. I was given a Chevy impala which went terribly in the snow and was charged for a premium. When we returned I left multiple messages and the manager never called back. Eventually the the kid who rented me the car supposedly took 30$ off the bill. I have yet to see it in print to check if it was even taken care of. Absolutely ridiculous. What's the point of a reservation if they cannot give you a gaurentee? Also, the impala only had a quarter tank of gas. My advice, save yourself the aggravation and choose another rental company!
I like Enterprise. They have competitive prices and they usually have good service. Last weekend was not a good service experience. When I picked up the car, there was no one available to tell me which car was mine. I had to wait several minutes for someone to appear. One fellow was sitting in the booth and appeared to be doing nothing. When I asked him what I needed to do, he said just wait for someone else to come back. Returning the car was similar. No one appeared to accept the returned car for several minutes. Then three people emerged from the booth. When I mentioned this to the person who finally showed up, he said that they were short of staff.
Picked up the vehicle at PIT - easy breezy. Counter staff was very professional, helpful and friendly for 7am. Very much appreciated her attitude. The car was clean, comfortable and just the right size for 4 adults with luggage. We did experience a "dead car" on day 2 when we went to return it. The vehicle had worked perfectly and was a 2017 with 4000 miles. We contacted Enterprise and they sent out a tow truck that arrived within 45 minutes. The tow truck driver was very helpful. Thanks Enterprise for all your assistance. We were so grateful that the car problem happened while parked in the hotel parking deck and not out on the road somewhere. Kudos!!!
I do not have the time to count how many times I have rented vehicles from this National location. Let's just say enough times to maintain an executive elite status for many years. This is a great group of people providing a fabulous service with excellent vehicles in both choice and quality. The Emerald Aisle staff is without a doubt the most helpful in the car rental industry. KUDO's to all!I just noticed this is for ALAMO. For whatever reason, this has been re-routed to this comment page. My comments are for the National Car Rental Oittsburgh International Airport location. Not an Alamo renter.
Rented a car from them to drive one way home from Pittsburgh airport. I was in a hurry and didn't check the car for damages (who does anyway when renting a car?). Upon arriving at my drop off location, I was blamed for small damages to the car that I didn't make. Lesson learned: Check your rental before leaving to have proof of the condition. 1 star rating for dishonest people an that location.EDIT: Issue resolved in my favor. Thanks to kind people at National for helping me.
The representatives and the manager, Alex, are friendly and accommodating. I haven't had a single problem in my last 3-4 years of renting here. You can rent with a peace of mind. The cars were always clean and relatively new. There is also a GetGo gas station within couple of blocks. Enterprise also waives underage fee for students (at least CMU that I know of), which was a very useful perk.
I had just recently rented a car from the crafton enterprise. The vehicle was clean and well maintained. Pricing was amazing and so was the customer service. I had dealt with the employee Zack, he was very knowledgable to all questions I had. My experience was a happy one and will be returning to use their services again
Although this is not the closest car rental point to my house, it is by far the most efficient and organized, and the prices are good too. I rent cars all across the country, and generally like Enterprise nationally, but the way the staff in Oakland remember you and make a special effort for their customers is notable.
I absolutely love the downtown location. The customer service is the greatest. I had no trouble at all. The staff was always polite and accurate. I was always handle within a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend this location to everyone. I can name a list of great reps there. Love the downtown location family.
Enterprise Car Rental is the best. I've never had to wait, and the service is the best. The people working there are unfailingly polite and efficient. I won't rent a car anywhere else if there is an Enterprise office where I'm going. I've had awful experiences with other companies.
