They don't return calls they pay fro appraisers to low ball because they don't want to help you. i had to call 9 times about my loan then each time we have question instead of sending the questions. Then when i forced the issue they low bal my home house in my area sale fro 106000.00 to 259000 and the ones in 106 range need total repair i paid 80000 for my home 14 years ago put 80000 in it and i being told it high 60's i can get for my home and a house next door smaller and needs everything done sold 106500. Never trust this bank. they forgotten it is the small people that count as well.
Here I am again within the same year! I obviously can't close out my year without writing another beautiful review for Riverset credit union. Please be aware of the sarcasm in my writing. Like most people, I worked hard for the money I entrusted Riverset with. I'm very upset with the direction of this financial establishment handles it customers. I would say they are rude, but they're rarely available to solve problems. When problem's do arise, they treat your situation as if it is not important or give you grief for calling and asking questions about your account. Again, I was hit with an over draft fee, but this time three in a row. The kicker is that I did, do, and still have the amount that was needed to pay the bills. From the notice I received about the overdraft fees, it even states I have a balance that can take care of the bills I had needed to pay. What drives it home is when they don't want to correct this. This was the best financial institution to have, but as soon as they went from PTCU to Riverset things started to slip. They have so many back door policies that forces you to agree or you can't check your accounts. I've just reported them to BBB.org, and people who are choosing banks need to understand that Credit Unions are good, but this one is on "the evil list" for sure. Just another small financial institution who likes to overcharge. My advice is to try PSECU if your in PA. They are open on Saturdays and open late on Weekdays. Riverset is failing and they know it! Which is why every other day you login to your account your always agreeing to a back door policy or you can't have access to your money. I hope my two comments can steer newcomers away and hopefully current members can speak up about their bad experiences.
I would just like to say the Hill District Federal Credit Union was the best thing that happened since candy my first experience with them my was in the 1970s when Loans and financial help was very scary for the black man especially the ones who had no credit are less than good credit through the years they've helped me in so many ways and for this I am thankful
Very good Credit Union. Fees are less than any of the banks and they treat me great when it comes to loans.
Terrible. Huge fees. Go elsewhere.
