So I walk into S&T Bank at 9100 Covenant Ave, to open an account. The assistant manger Michael A Holsinger- a pathological liar, cheat- I run out of adjectives...lied to me 3 times just to get me to deposit a couple thousand which they can use for the next couple of weeks without me having access. How can he be a manger!!! or maybe this is the approved 'policy' of S&T bank....I called the cops got a fraud report and can someone recommend a good lawyer :)
Very nice employees, very helpful and professional, open early in the morning to get banking done before work.
Last Saturday, 12/3/16 my husband and I rolled up to this Huntington location about about 1:50 PM and the branch closes at 2. What's more is that we were there to open a joint checking account, which takes more than a few minutes. By the time the banker had finished with the customer ahead of us, it was after 2, but he and one other employee agreed to assist us knowing full well we'd be keeping them a while. The banker then helped us open our checking account without rushing the process at all. He did a great job of presenting the bank's products, and had good insight as to which options were right for us. He was a very knowledge guy and really just pleasant to be around. We will definitely be stinking with this bank and branch. Excellent customer service.
I have been with this bank for many years and I've always appreciated the great customer service they show me.
I would never recommend Dollar Bank to any of my clients. Once a deposit is made, who knows when they will credit your account. Check your balance online and it gives you one amount, go to a teller and get another one, at the ATM another and call their corporate office and you will get something different all within a few minutes time. They obviously have a system in use to clear checks and credit deposits in order to find the right gap to charge an overdraft fee. I caught them red handed. Almost had to call the police to close my account.
I'd never go anywhere else!!!I have trusted Tom with all my auto work for decades. My uncle actually brought me here after wrecking my first car. They work with you no matter how much you want to spend. I doubt I could've afforded raising 3 daughters without this place. But most recently they truly did a beautiful job restoring my 2010 Honda as good as new after a terrible front end collision. They even saved me on my deductible!!! Beautiful job and honest work!
They was paid to replace doors on my truck and tried to save money by just putting bondo on the damage. I was very dissappionted that they would even try such a thing. The repairs took 10 days longer than my insurance company generously had given. I had to fight with the owner to pay for my rental car that he promised me he would. I would advise anyone who is thinking of going to them to save yourself the head ache i had and go somewhere else. They cut corners to make a bigger profit no matter who u r. Beware
THE ONE THING THAT SOLD ME ON DOLLAR BANK WAS THE FREE CHECKING .I AM RETIRED AND ON A FIXED INCOME SO THIS WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME !!!
The only thing that is an issue is is that they need a few more locations in the city It was great when I lived in N. Hills but now being in s.Hills I can't get out because of oxygen its too far to away and if I need to make a deposit I ail it which makes me nervous Lets get a branch near Carrick or Brentwood ares of Pittsburgh PA .One other thing evevry one who works at this branch is soooo very nice and know you your not just a number and they go out of their way to do anything to help you if they can Asst Mgr.Sandy opened my account and Ethel is always helping me out everyone is so wonderful get more branches, Four stars are because of lack of branches not service. Thanks T Shannon
I tried to cash a check that was drawn from this bank and the teller charged me a $10.00 fee since I didn't have an account with them. I was furious - - complete ripoff. I'll never open an account at PNC after that incident. On a positive note, the teller was sincere enough while explaining it was the bank's policy and not his.
