My Maytag washing machine was under warranty, and this company has a contract with them. Let me first say, I do not write reviews, no matter how negative the experience is. I am doing so to save people the many frustrations I experienced with this unprofessional company. Do not use them. Ask Maytag to find another company. It took three technicians to try to fix the problem, and it was never fixed. The first technician was gruff and surly, and broke the washing basket while trying to replace, making a loud cracking sound. He also forgot a part on another visit, forcing me to reschedule. It put my washing out of commission for more a week, forcing me to go to a laundramat. This guy then ordered the wrong sized basket. Another guy hooked up the hoses wrong, so when I wanted cold water, I got hot water. It was a comedy of errors. The support staff was also unprofessional and refused to compensate me for the cost of going to a laundramat. I would say this company made 10-12 appointments with me. I thought the problem was fixed, but it resurfaced several months later. I had Maytag contact Lake Appliances in Sacramento, and they were much more professional and competent. In short, do not use this company. Two of their technicians are incompetent.
I had Aries out for an extended warranty on my kitchen aide refrigerator. The gasket around both doors was torn and the compressor was running a lot. He gave me tips on cleaning the dust under the refrigerator and he ordered the parts for the door. They came out with in two days and he was back out to install them. He really knew what he was doing. I was so impressed that I am having him replace the gaskets around my front loader that has mold all over. No one told me early on to dry the gasket including inside the flap when you are done washing.
Aries does not answer phone calls or email. Whirlpool sent my service call to Aries and 3 weeks later I am still no closer to having my problem resolved. I have had the needed part that entire time, as it was shipped from Whirlpool to my home. The installer who came out originally was never told he had a part to install so we didn't have the equipment he needed. An appointment was scheduled for the weekend, but the installer was delayed at an earlier project, so we opted to reschedule for 8:30 a.m. today. 2 hours later and I have been unsuccessful in getting through to the installer or the office. Will definitely request Vacaville appliance next time.
I was very happy with the service that Aries provided for my Whirlpool refrigerator that was under the extended warranty. The repairman was very pleasant, knew his stuff, and although he had to order the part, it came quickly (3 days) and he was back to put it in. I was very pleased.
