I called on a truck i seen listed. They were close to my home and thought I would deal with a local dealer. I spoke with a salesman named Al Mendez. He said he could do better than the price I seen listed. He told a price. I came in drove the truck. I asked him a few questions and now I realize he evaded answering them. I gave him a credit application although I was going through my credit union. He came back and said everything is good. He gave me the paperwork and the price was different it was much higher than he told me. I asked about the price. He said he could not sell it for what he said. We had a discussion, then Al went and got the sales manager. I was pressured into buying the truck, and when i said no. He got an attitude. the sales manager asked Al about the price he gave me. Al said he was not sure did not remember. Total B S here. Al misled me on price and super high pressure. I did not buy a truck from them and recommend you do not go to Pittsboro Ford.

If there was a "0" star, that's what I would rate. They are crooks, do not give them your money! Our company gave them money to do a restaurant add but they never put it in. Cost us $199. When I confronted the owner he told me to go f****** sue him! HORRIBLE PERSON!
I had a wonderful experience! Stand-up and a joy to work with.I will definitely be coming back to buy again. They care about you after the sell.
These guys are not your normal fly by night dealership! They did everything as promised and were friendly from the start! They still check up on us from time to time! I highly recommend this small town dealership!
In 1/17, my husband and I went there looking for a vehicle. We ended up purchasing a Jeep Cherokee from them, and immediately the problems began. The price we settled on was to include gap insurance, a donut tire and second key. Once the paperwork was being signed, the guy basically said "oops, forgot to include gap insurance in the paperwork, but it isn't that much." Because the guy said he was "taking $1,000 off the price" (we bought from him before) we just overlooked it. He said he would get a key cut and call us to come get it later. After about a week, we noticed an overwhelming smell of gas in the vehicle. We got in contact in with them, and HE made us an appointment with a Jeep dealership to have it serviced. He said it was still under warrantee and not to worry about it, if that didn't cover it, he would pay for it himself. He also said he would have them cut the key as he "hadn't had the chance to do it yet". So we brought the Jeep in and found out it was a leak in the gas tank. He spoke to the Jeep dealership and found out it was NOT an emissions problem (like he thought it was) so was NOT covered under insurance, but he told them to fix it anyhow. Once the work was done it was $750 and just under $300 for the key. We called them and gave them the total and he said "That's way too much money, I'm not paying that". Really?? I guess he thought it would be much less? In addition, he said he could have gotten the key cut for less than $200. He said we should have shopped around for a price and we reminded him that HE was the one who sent us there and HE was even the one who made the appointment! We spent an entire week arguing with him, and trying to make a deal with the Jeep dealership so we could get our car. After all was said and done, Jeep lowered the price for him, but he still wouldn't pay the entire bill, so we had to pay the remaining $175 to get our vehicle back! Will NEVER NEVER NEVER go back!!!
This dealer misled me on price. Told me one thing on the phone, then changed the price when I went to to buy the car. He told me he did not understand the rebates and added one in two times. It was an honest mistake he told me. I did not qualify for some of the rebates he deducted. The money was major a few thousand dollars. I had shopped around a few months and found the price he told me, the best. I know why, he could not sell it for that . Avoid this dealer at any cost. I drove to this dealer to get the best deal, but found it was not a deal at all. misleading, fast talking, endless phone calls. waste of time. The salesman said he was from New York.
This negative review is a response to the worst customer service and complete lack of professionalism by Bob Bachand and Jennifer. We ordered our add in Jan. of 2016 and it was to be placed in a restaurant menu in Feb. We checked for the add in late Feb., March and June and found it had not been placed in all the menus. When Jennifer was informed of this situation in March she said they would look into it. (never did) After numerous attempts to contact the company by phone, voice message, e-mail and text with no reply, we now must resort to legal action. I would not recommend this company under any circumstance.
I bought my 2013 Nissan Altima from these guys and I have no complaints. I was referred by a family friend who purchases all of his cars from the Wieland's at Smart Cars. It was quick and easy. I hear horror stories of people spending 5-6 hours trying to buy a vehicle and they went through the process in a timely manner. They told me it had been fully serviced and my mechanic confirmed they did service it fully.(brakes, rotors, oil and new tires) Everyone was very laid back and didn't try to push anything that I didn't like. They offer all options on financing and really work for the customer to get a low payment and interest rate. There finance girl, Ashley was awesome. I was impressed by her extra effort. I will recommend these folks to everyone. They have quality cars at the best prices. I have had my car now for 3 months and I plan on buying my next one there too.
I am really happy I paid a visit to Pittsboro Ford. The dealership is not so large as the ones in Raleigh and Durham and their old style service and professionalism was refreshing. The whole team treated you like a person instead of a "mark" to be sold to. Especially our salesman, Terry Wilson. Terry went beyond the call in everything he did. He studied up on the Chrysler Town and Country we purchased and he could answer every question we asked expertly. He was genuine, gracious, pleasant, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable with no pressure to " buy today" or any other kind of pressure. He was there to provide us the service we wanted. He even called us after the sale to make sure we were satisfied and ask if we had any questions. A then I received a really nice letter from him. UNBELIEVABLE! The owner was also professional and courteous, bargained in good faith and didn't play any games or spout any BS. We believe we got a very good deal at Pittsboro Ford and we are extremely pleased with our experience there. What a difference going just a little ways out of the big city made for us. I highly recommend this dealership and if you visit, be sure to ask for Terry Wilson. Our experience with him was absolutely the best ever and I am 62 years old. You can't go wrong with Terry
I had the best experience with Pittsboro Ford. Terry was incredible with all the tech stuff in my car. I highly recommend purchasing through them rather than Crossroads Ford. Small and personal, takes half the time and no games. No going back and forth and back and forth. They give you a great price right of the start. All my cars from this point forward will be bought through Pittsboro Ford!!
