Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School District, established in 1914, offers vocational courses and technical training to students in high schools throughout New Jersey. The various courses offered by the district include allied health, automotive technology, carpentry, communication, electronics, cosmetology, culinary arts and diversified occupations. It also provides courses in adult education, electrical construction, health occupations, protective services, computer technology, technical preparation, and welding and collision repair technology. The district provides medical assistance, transportation services, and career counseling and placement assistance. It also provides a variety of sports activities, such as cross country, field hockey, football, soccer, track, wrestling, baseball, softball and golf. The Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School District has campuses located in East Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Piscataway and Woodbridge, N.J.
