Watched as they did a neighbor's home. Stripped roof down to roofing deck. Half of the roof has no protective roofing felt under the shingles.....just slapped the shingles right over the bare plywood roof deck.

Band-aid fix over surgery. Once upon a time I had a roof that didn't leak, however was getting to the point we thought would be a good idea to have it replaced so it wouldn't also. And would add to the value of the home. Now it has been discovered that a hole was somehow put in the wood, (probably when taking off old shingles) and shingled over. Now with the recent heavy rain, it has started leaking inside the house. When the attic was checked, it showed that this has been happening for quite a while, (years we were told) and it finally has absorbed down to ceilings, through insulation. They could actually see the hole underneath the shingles from the attic side, and see the shingles through it. There is mold all over growing up there and it is going to take a major repair to fix and replace and restore and clean up the damage caused due to negligence. It amuses me that the ad states "getting it right the 1st time" Evidently an employee knew what they did and figured they could just cover it up. The whole idea of the new roof was to prevent leaks. We paid thousands for this work to be done correctly and trusted this company. They offer a 1 year guarantee, unfortunately by the time you can see the slow damage, like in most cases, It's gone past that time.
