So disappointed in the customer service at this store. My son was given a Power Wheels as a gift for his 2nd birthday. The box that was sent had a large sticker that said the battery expired in Sept. 2013. We attempted to charge anyway, but it did not work. Upon returning to the store, the supervisor was very unfriendly and not willing to help. He said they didn't have it in store so they couldn't do anything. He also told us to contact the manufacturer, which I was open to, but when asked for the contact information and what to expect the response was, "I don't know...maybe look online." I then explained that I was a bit confused as to why they would not help us since the product was purchased from Toys R Us (we had confirmation and receipt), and he said that no, it wasn't since it was an online purchase. Even if they were unable to fix our problem directly in the store, some customer service to assist us in figuring out what we needed to do would have been very helpful.

I went there for the first time today and I've gotta say they have the coolest games! I found all of my old favorite games that I've been searching for online. If you're looking for your favorite video games or toys then that's definitely the place to go, also the prices are awesome!
I recently bought Teegan one of the Honey Girls, for my son Logan and he absolutely adores her! I have been purchasing items for him from here since he was around 2 years of age. And the staff are always friendly and curtious. The products are always well made and stand the test of time, as well as hard play and lots of loving.
I was extremely disappointed with the lack of good cutstomer service to return a toy that stopped working after only three weeks. First I called bc I didn't want to waste a long drive out there's if I had no shot of returning (no receipt, but purchased three week ago.) I went in and stood in a long line. Once I got up there, The lady was very rude and said she wouldn't exchange it for me bc I didn't have a recept or the bag. She looked at the other lady working next to her and she agreed to exchange it for me. When I got the replacement dragon for my son the rude lady said to the helpful lady , "you should have just said no." I couldn't believe the lack of professionalism by this woman. Obviously not very educated on how to treat a customer and truthfully should be fired. Thank goodness for the lady that is knowledgeable enough to be a good person and worker for toys r us. Bc of her I will go back.
My husband and I recently purchased the Cinderella presale at this store. When we picked it up, it was not in the case we wanted (blu-ray combo pack vs. dvd combo pack). This may not have been such a big deal if it weren't for the events that occurred thereafter. When we asked about the other case the cashier told us several untruths, including "it has not been released" or "we do not carry that", and eventually settled on "we have no way to know which we will get or when". Never once did she attempt to look into the issue further, despite her clear lack of knowledge about the difference in the products. The "assistant manager" was also involved in the conversation. The following day we returned, determined to get the case we wanted or to refund the product. In talking to that same "assistant manager" several more untruths were provided to us. These started with her acknowledging a different base price for the product initially, then later saying they were the same (when actually there is a $15 difference). When online pricing was mentioned to her for comparison, she denied any association with disneystore.com. When I asked about the process for submitting a formal complaint, she directed me to the same website that she denied being associated with just seconds prior. I asked for a local person to whom I could complain and she stated there was not one (after I posed several different questions; such as "is there a manager", "is there anyone at this store with authority over employees" "is there anyone local that oversees the store"). Finally, I had to directly ask her "if I were to apply for a job here, who would I talk to." This led to the revelation that there was, in fact, a store manager (who was present at the time) and she was the assistant manager. Realizing I wouldn't get anywhere in-store, I requested the name and number for a district manager. Reluctantly, she gave me the information for Jenifer Maund. After a conversation with Jenifer, I will likely remain a customer with Disney Store. The situation hasn't been completely resolved as of yet, but I am hopeful.
