Overall

yes,a lot of it looks like yard sales, but there are also some talented new people trying to turn a hobby into a business, and it pays to really look around and see all the new stuff in amongst the used. Please really look around.

Honestly, its acres and acres of repeated vendors that are overpriced. Even the "garage sale" vendors were not worth the look..

LOVE TO GO TO THE BEER GARDEN , THEY FIRED MICHAEL JAYNE A FEW WEEKS AGO AND IT IS JUST NOT THE SAME. EMPTY SEATS IS A REGULAR SITE. MOST OF THE REGULARS ARE GONE. GETTING A BEER IS FAST AN EASY NOW , A PLUS BUT THE MUSIC IS LACKING .I KNOW THERE WERE SOME ISSUES TO BE WORKED OUT BETWEEN MICHAEL AND THE OWNER BUT COME ON GUYS YOUR ADULTS ,WORK THEM OUT AND GET BACK TO BUSINESS, WE MISS MIKE AND I SPEAK FOR MANY MANY PEOPLE BOTH REGULARS AND TOURISTS.i HAVE NOT BEEN THERE ONE WEEKEND WITHOUT BEING ASKED WHERE IS MJ. WHY DID THEY LET HIM GO? MOST SAY THEY WILL NEVER COME BACK IF HE IS NOT THERE SO COME ON ,BRING HIM BACK! {USE TO BE A 5 STAR RATING}

GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Had such a great time at this market! It was surprisingly clean, organized, friendly and full of products you don't see anywhere else.

I'm not sure which flea market the last review was speaking about, it certainly wasn't the Wagon Wheel. The outside area was filled with vendors selling anything from new to used products, no dirt or weed piles.

I even found a vendor who sells Hollister/American Eagle/Aeropostale/Juicy clothing, authentic! They were in row F/G booth FC43. Gr eat prices too!

The office building has so much to offer, if you prefer being inside shopping. Definitely a good day, great food in the food court! Your husbands can sip an ice cold beer at the beer garden, while you enjoy shopping.

White Puppies

Love visiting this flea market. Always seem to find something good. Enjoy listening to the singers. Surprised this time to see the little white puppies for sale. Wonder how much and what they are? If anyone knows please leave info in review section. Thanks for such an enjoyable experience.

Excellent experience

The best flea market in central Florida

I bit the bullet and went against the advice of all those negative comments and decided to visit The Wagon Wheel. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE IT WAS. I am so glad I am my own person and do not follow the advice of others. My wife and I had a great time looking at all the stuff people were selling. The different mix of people and products were out of this world. You can just about find anything you want. The food was good, the live music was great and everyone was friendly. Our first time we spent 2 hours there walking and looking, we still didn't cover it all. So much to see and experience. If I could give this a 10 star rating I would. We now make this a weekend thing to do and enjoy every minute of it.

My favorite fleamarket in all of Florida

My husband and I have been coming to the Wagon Wheel for 16 years. In fact we are in souther ga on our way to wagon wheel now. Its our favorite. It has everything and more. Im always happy with our selection. We have brought our daughter and husbands sister with us and cannot wait to get there. I sure do hope they have those deep fried vegetables we have been missing so much. The huge variety. Just wonderful. We love the outside dealers also. We spend the whole day there. Usually go every week. We have many people we brings things home to. Its also friendly in the dining area. We spend time there each time. We should be there by this weekend 3-18th to 20th. Im excited. We tel everyone that goes anywhere near that area to try wagonwheel out. They'll love it and go back many many times. Nancy H

Chattanooga resident been twice and loved it.

We have been to St. Pete twice in the past 3 years and have been each time we have visited. We have found huge bargains while there and a lot cheaper than we could buy at home. You have to be cautious as to what you buy, but if you shop smart, you will not be dissapointed. We are going back in July 2010 again.

GREAT RETURN POLICY

In visiting a flea market , you assume it's a fly by night, no guarantee, no return, as is policy. Wrong!

I wasn't happy with a set of sheet, wrong color, the vendor didn't want to take it back. I went to the front office, who quickly took my sheets, visited the vendor, and came back to the office with my cash refund.

According to the market, there is a return policy all vendors have to abide by.

I now frequent the place , great place for families, entertainment, beer garden, excellent food court, produce, and anything you're looking for is there.

Thanks to the owners for providing a legitimate, pleasant experience!

smoking

in answer to the idiot ""ballin2010"" in regards to your post about smoking at the flea market, you need to learn how to spell. I would guess though that your spelling abilities match your IQ. (non-existent)
I have never been to this flea market. I was going to bring my daughter and grandson to this market during there visit next week, but have changed my mind about EVER GOING THERE, because of the smoking.
I would bet you are one of those stupid smokers, the people God ""didn't give the brains of a rock"" too. If you
had a brain, why would you smoke, idiot?????
you idiot, are a rude, disgusting person, with a vile personality. hopefully I did not use words to large for you to understand.
also idiot, if you blew smoke in my grandsons face, you would be writhering on the ground from the pain of getting a well aimed kick to your crotch.

UNHEALTHY AND GROSS

Who allows smoking indoors? We will NEVER go back here, the vendors smoke, my hair and clothes REEKED of cigarettes. It's 2009 people! Smoking is disgusting so we will boycott this place as all our friends are. Yes, it's a flea market, but there are children there, children whose lungs don't deserve your vile habits..and adults who find your habits disgusting....stay away if you want quality, this place is not it.

Don't buy the purses there !

I bought a purse from the vendor at the first entrance B-C and the first day I used it, the handle broke and the inside change pocket tore. When I tried to exchange it - they said that I didn't buy it from them...I pointed out the exact same purse hanging from their hook, then they accused me of tearing it on purpose and trying to scam them...outrageous!!!

Huge Flea Market

There are way too many smokers, P-U!
The place stinks so bad of cigarettes, they allow smoking ""inside"" where the vendors are. Don't go if you have a sensitivity to smoke and/or do not want your children, clothing, hair, etc. to stink of smoke. With that said... Get out your most comfortable walking shoes, your going to need them. This is a huge flea market, you'll never make it through in one day! Believe me, I've tried it! I spent about 8 hours trying, on a motorized scooter and still didn't get to see everything. You can find good and bad deals, old and new items as well as courteous and rude people. It is always buyer beware at these types of places. I would suggest bring batteries etc. to try before you buy. You do have to pay for parking, but they give you a voucher for a free hot dog and drink. I like the lady that paints the custom plaques, she does beautiful work. I also like the lady with the summer dresses, she always has good deals and you can get small to EX Large. I'm not so sure about the perfume dealers with their watered down version of designer perfumes/colognes and the Italian clothing guy inside with the inflated prices does not like to negotiate and he doesn't offer a good variety of sizes. And buyer beware about the T-shirt guy... he puts birds and other items on the T-shirts to hide imperfections, such as holes, stains, bad stiching, etc. You know what opinions are like, everyone has their own... you should try it for yourself.

Best Flea market in the state

Great place to visit. Found almost everything we go there looking for. We go about 3-4 times a year. One thing is you do have to remember it's a flea market not a mall. If you look at most of the reveiws you will see most people are very happy and know what a true Flea market is. the ones that aren't happy if you read their reveiw you will see cause they didn't really check things out and make sure things work or are in good shape it is no ones fault but theirs. You have to take responsibility for what your doing and buying. Yes there are people who will take advantage of you but only cause you LET them. Been to almost every Flea market in the state and this one by far is the BEST

Wagon Wheel - Best Flea Market In Town!

Sounds like you should spend your time at the malls. A flea market (note the name -flea market- not Mall) is a place where you would go to find some wonderful used items and some really good new ones. I have met both friendly people and not so friendly people while shopping there. But again....it is a flea market. You are not shopping at an upscale mall. This is a wonderful place to go. Most of the vendors will bargin with you, which is half the fun. The Wagon Wheel gets 5+ stars from me and its the first place we head to when we arrive from out of state. We have been coming to the Wagon Wheel for around 30 years. Keep up the good work WW & vendors. See ya in June when we come down on vacation!!!!

Vendor not Honest

I have visited the Wagon Wheel many times since 1975 and am unhappy to say I ran into a dishonest Vendor.
My sister and I went to The Wagon Wheel Flea Market yesterday 4/25/09 and saw a man selling headsets you can wear to control the volume on your electronics without bothering others. I asked How much- He said $40.
I bought the headset with a Credit Card. I brought the set home and it did not work.
My husband went back today 4/26/09. My husband said- I thought you said it was $40. I said it was. He said -Well the slip says $52.
I called my Sister. I asked- How much did the man say the headset was? She said- It was $40.
When my husband handed the man the phone- He said I misunderstood him. I said Oh My sister misunderstood you too??? He tried to change the subject.
I will dispute this with my Credit Card Company- So Buyer Beware

Great Palce for Bargains!!

People who claim this is a filthy place must live in a bubble. It's a FLEA MARKET! GO ELSEWHERE!
Flea markets, to me anway, should have that ""frumpy"" look. Any of those ""clean looking"" flea markets sell
mostly new stuff from third world countries. Give me the good old fashioned dirt floor markets anyday! You'll find
great buys here every week. I know this as fact, I do every week!
