My husband and I, our son and his girlfriend and our two nieces recently had a wonderful time at Trail Creek Stables with our ages spanning from 12 – 60. This family owned business made us feel like part of their family. Really like how they gave safety instructions and ensured each person that they had the right to say “I’m uncomfortable”. Every step of the way they made sure that we not only were comfortable but had a truly enjoyable ride through the beautiful woods. It’s an experience we’ll all think back on and talk about fondly for years to come. Thanks Debbie and family.

Finally found a riding stable in Mid-Michigan! We had a great ride along the wooded trail, farmland and road. The owner and the trail guides were extremely nice. They took the time to match us to the horse they felt would be best suited for us. They also spent time with one of us who had never ridden before to make sure she was comfortable before leaving on the ride. I can definitely recommend!

My daughter received as a birthday gift a trip out horseback riding and due to my love of horses I thought I would join her and I'm so glad I did!!! The trip was absolutely beautiful. The trail guides were there to help us if needed and the horses were so gentle. We had a great time and I can't wait to go back. Thanks for making our day one to remember!!!

I would like to respond to crystal.mathewson.5's review. First of all, I again apologize for any inconvenience you experienced that day. It was explained to you upon your arrival, that I was just taken by ambulance to the hospital because of a possible heart attack. My daughter and grand daughter BOTH tried repeatedly to call you to let you know that the ride had to be canceled because I had just been taken to the hospital, but there was never an answer. You told me you were up north camping for the week, not that you drove 155 miles just to ride. Second, you did not call and ask to have the ride moved up an hour, if you had, the answer would have been no because we had a family out on the trail before your appointed time. My daughter waited here at the house for your arrival instead of coming with the ambulance & me to the hospital so she could personally apologize and explain to you what had happened. At that time you said "can we ride tomorrow"? To which your husband replied "why don't we wait and see how her mom is doing tomorrow?" To which you replied "ok". Your review makes it look like we just plain forgot about you and was unwilling to allow you to ride. You know this is not the case. I do appreciate all reviews... good or bad.... but PLEASE BE HONEST! P.S. THIS IS NOT "A JOKE", we take our profession very seriously, we are a family ran facility, when something happens to one of us, it affects all of us! After spending 3 days in the hospital, I am doing ok!

What a great day! Our 9 year old Granddaughter was looking forward to her first ride for months. On her birthday in April, we got her a pink cowgirl hat and boots. The only problem was she was unable to wear her hat....the owners insist on safety helmets, which we had no problem with! When Grandpa and I found this spot, we were thrilled with the treatment the owners gave their newest rider and took care to see that she was completely as ease with her new adventure. They went slowly to make sure she understood each new command and was able to accomplish it without confusion and in complete safety. We will, I am sure, be returning for further rides and to be included in the happiness of our Granddaughter. Thanks to Venus and Debbie for their patience and caring.

Don't Do It!!!

We drove 2 hrs and 35 mins 155 miles to come and ride. Then We happen to come early so i called to see if perhaps we could move the ride up one hour. The answer was no. Not only was answer no but they had forgot about us coming and could not do the ride at all!!! So wonderful!!! Total wast of our time and no to mention our gas!! (That is not cheap) what a joke!!!!

Great!

Trail Creeks Stables is a must go! The friendly ride instructors were very informative on the personalities of all the (well behaved :) ) horses and safety. The trails were very pretty and it was an overall great experience!
