I moved from pikeville to Clearwater,FL. The move was one of the best that our family has ever had. I would like to personally thank capitol city movers for there professionalism and out right courtesy. We were all treated with respect and our belongings were well taking care of. One of the most honest hard working service providers in the moving industry. The move was perfectly planned and executed through Capitol city. I must tell you about the heart these guys have. 5-6 months ago my wife was finishing up her rental payment collections. Some how she lost our bank envelope with over $6000.00 in 100 denominations(cash) We had gave up on ever seeing the money again. That was very hard for our family to overcome. Anyway i was going over some last minute details with our relocation going in full swing, these guys were spot on. Never scratched a wall nor furniture alike. The highlight of all highlights overcame us. Larry the mover came in from carrying out our marble top dresser looked at me and said close your eyes and open your hand, reluctantly I did only to find a bank envelope in my hand with every red cent accounted for. they had picked up our dresser and there it was and how it fell that far under I will never know. Stunned ,thinking i had to ask larry why or if the thought crossed his mind to keep it after all my wife and I never expected to ever see that money again. He stopped walked closer and simply said "Never had any use for a thief and said I would want someone to do that for me!" As far as I am concerned if honesty, integrity, and solid work ethic is what you want then capitol city movers is what you need. needless to say we oversized the tip. They even un-packed for us at the last minute.....superb job well done
"The time that we scheduled with this company all seemed to go well. the company was on time and the movers were very fast and courteous.Took a little less time than my wife and I thought. Which ended up being great. We originally thought this would take two days since the time went by so fast we went ahead and moved the storage too. We are very happy with the way this move took place and would recommend them to any one that needs a dependable moving company.They was magnificent and very polite
well the only thing that was done somewhat well was there arrival. shoveled through boxes, scratches on most furniture and horrible attitudes do not use!
Second half equally as good as the first. because the movers had done such a perfect move for our family, then comes our 90 year old fathers house that has been occupied since my childhood.(Meaning furniture on top of furniture) Tony,John and Larry showed up as agreed took one look and acted as though it would be nothing...Right.. 12 hours later they had moved a three bedroom home all the appliances and a six-foot 2800lb gun safe. I don't understand how there backs still work. Thanks guys for the spectacular move and most off all your due diligence in the matter. Without a hitch and received a repeat customer discount. awesome.
Great job with handling all of our furniture. Our family is very great-full for all of the hard work that your movers provided. I expected a little less time although for the price we hit a home run. Our families play-ground equipment was took apart and delivered perfectly. The movers were polite and very careful with every piece of furniture as well as with our families really old vintage keepsakes. I would highly recommend them to any one looking for a very affordable, fast and professional moving company- Thank-You for the extra effort.
Oh my God! WORST MOVE EVER!!! First of the movers were late my husband and I found out later that they were lying about the excuse they gave us. They were un organized and smelled really bad. I complained that the move was going really slow to the mover that seemed to be in charge of this nightmare of a move. He was rude in his reply and stunk really bad. One of the movers kept using the bathroom over and over again until my husband got suspicious and found out that he was snorting pills off of our bathroom sink,left residue on the sink and in his nose. The third guy was complaining the whole time about the heat and furniture being to big. (Duh isn't that why you hire movers?) I was over charged two hours I am missing jewelry and our sons video games. I will file a complaint with the better business board and if anything save someone else the headache of using Ratliff Moving. Unprofessional,inconsiderate, SCAMMERS.
I have used these movers in the past and so has others in our family, including the families business office's The move was completed with out a hitch. Perfectly organized and professional is the best way to explain. The movers called the morning of the move and arrived 10 minutes early. they laid out carpet protectors and went straight to work. The price for the move in comparison to others was cheaper than expected. They were very polite, well dressed and seemed to be very attentive to our families moving needs. They moved our three bedroom home like a well thought out process. Thank you for a well done job and I highly recommend them.
