Pigeon Forge, TN Pigeon River Inn

Stayed here last night. Room was clean however had piss ants all over the kitchen area!!!! -makes me worry about other things. The coffee pot didn't work. Not a pleasant experience... when you look online for an indoor pool it's something you can walk to not freeze to and find out it's closed because it's only open 9am-11pm well when you on overnight visiting you are out late. -don't think we will visit again.

Love it! Want stay anywhere else. Nice all around . Room and people.We go twice a year. Norma dans is the best. Shoneys right across the road and dixie stamped dinner show. Oh so nice. Can't wait to go the end of may 2017.

Every time we go to Pigeon Forge, we stay at Rodeway Inn. We have always been more than satisfied and our last trip was no different. Everything was clean and well maintained and the pancake breakfast was very tasty! The internet at Rodeway Inn was a little iffy, at times, but that wasn't a big deal. The employees are always very welcoming, helpful, and attentive and the location is perfect-- very close to all the area attractions. We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when we visit Pigeon Forge.

Very clean and very friendly staff. Will stay here again. Already sent my son to stay too.

This place was not that great it need to be fixed up 1st thing no heat in our room then they made us go to another room to get a heater then blow dryer didn't work needless to say for the money people go somewhere else and stay ain't worth it

There was no problem with the room. It was comfy, clean and I still love the soft sheets.The free pancakes were great. (WiFi does NOT work.)However...when we arrived we were told the room wasn't quite ready. Since we had arrived a little early I assured the clerk that it was fine. Mom and I would grab something to eat and wait on her call. FIVE hours later we got a call saying there was a problem with our room but one was available in the pool building. When I made the reservation I requested a room near the office(for safety reasons) and was told it wouldn't be a problem. After waiting all afternoon I was told there were no rooms in that building. I will give "Tony" credit. He worked his magic and got our room where we wanted.Now the main issue. As we were packing the car to go, we made one last walk thru of the room to make sure we had everything. The door was open and I didn't see my camera/case behind it.(Mind you, this is not a point and shoot camera...it was an expensive Pentax SLR) I called the front desk the same day and asked about the camera.(Living about 5 hours away, I could just run back over there.) I got Tony again. He said he'd look and call me back. When he called back he stated the camera wasn't in the room or lost and found. He said he would leave a note for the manager and someone would call me back. I waited most of the next day and I finally called. The young lady told me the manager had searched the room and it wasn't there, it wasn't in lost and found and they didn't know who had cleaned my room.(REALLY?) ...and she was really sorry. I asked her to please leave the manager a note to call me. (She never called and still hasn't almost a week later.)I am very aware it was my fault I left that camera and I should have been more careful, but someone at that establishment has my camera and I am afraid an "I'm sorry" just isn't good enough. The lack of concern about my missing property really disturbs me. This was our 4th or 5th stay here and it will be our last. I can not abide a thief nor any business that will employ one and let them get by with stealing someone elses property. I work hard for what I have and I hope the person that has my camera gets good use from it. Karma will call.

me and my wife and friends stayed at this motel on 9-11-12-13-2014 and discovered that several rooms had bed bugs including ours. we let the motel be aware of this and they done nothing, one of the rooms they had to close off too the public. the owner was very rude, and also we had to argue just to get a parking spot that we paid for. just yesterday I found out that the health dept. was notified and they got a score of 67 .I would beware to stay at this motel.

I love this hotel. The housekeeping might be a little slow but the pools are awesome family fun. I will deff come back

We stayed here while visiting my aunt and uncle on vacation. It's clean and a great location to anything you want to do; eat, shop, family activities, etc. The best part was that we could walk out the back door and see a campground on the other side of the creek. It was so peaceful, sitting on the patio, with our eyes closed, listening to the water. I would definitely recommend staying here or even camping across the creek, which I think we'll be doing in the near future.

Managment is very unfriendly. Had a set price online and when I went to set the reservations the manager was very rude and insisted that he would not do that rate and the online rates was wrong. The manager also spoke to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. I do not recommend anyone to stay with them. try a different super 8 in the area or a different hotel. here.
