We were on our annual couple's trip. Our first night consisted of cleaning, washing, linen, and dishes. Whiling mixing drinks, the pitcher had a hole in it and I lost one half bottle or rum. That night we found that only three televisions of the six in the "Dreamland" cabin could run at once. We finally got LR fireplace to work after two days of being there, and it was so LOUD (just like the one upstairs). The game room was so small and smelly that we weren't able to enjoy it. Plus the couches in the LR and game room were low with flat cushions. We invited another couple to come by to play cards at the kitchen table where three places in the ceiling leaked. To top it off, we went to the store to retrieve food for grilling and the gas tank on the grill was empty. We ended up eating our food after 10:00pm. I don't' mind bugs in the wilderness but, not in my living space. In our bathroom upstairs was a pile of dead lady bugs, some living and small roaches; The bedroom upstairs had stink bugs. I have attempted several times to speak with someone but have left several messages and spoke once with a customer representative that really had no concern at all.

Great cabins at an affordable price!!! We have used them for the past 10yrs. They also have pet friendly cabins available.
The reservations made were for a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 children. The accommodations provided included one bathroom that was located in the master bedroom which was in no way appropriate for the reserved party... beyond this major inconveinence, there was soiled carpet, hundreds of dead bugs (ladybugs (under pull out headboard and wasp (in window ),crumbs (under pull out mattress and on loft futon), droppings under cabinets, dust on doors and lastly but certainly not lease mold and mildew covering the bathroom.
Not a pleasant experience. Bathroom was so small you could hardly turn around. Water smelled awful and we saw bugs everyday. Not very clean. Sure wasn't what was advertised. The view was a bunch of trees in back with no mountain view at all .would not stay here again or recommend. When I got an email to give a review, they blocked it and said that reservation number had already responded. So I am trying to post here.
We liked our cabin , it was clean !! Everything was as it showed on the website !! we are coming back again this year ! We celebrated our 50th. wedding anniversary there last year ( 2015 ) !! Had a great time in Pigeon Forge ,looking forward to going back this year !!!
I spent Thanksgiving in the mountain at Pigeon Forge in a cabin rented from Fireside Chalets. The cabin we rented for 5 nights, s bdrms, 3 baths called Mountain Elegance. The picures on the web are very deceiving. The furniture in the pictures on the web is not the furniture in the pictures, especially the sleeper sofas. The on downstairs was disgusting and nasty with a pig dark spot on the sleeper when you pulled it out for a night sleep. The sleeper up stairs slept like it was 50 years old. I assume no one had lived there for a while because there was spider webs. I would not rent it again unless the changed the furniture. The dresser up in the big bedrm was in bad shape. Just want to say pictures are deceiving so before I go again,I will check ratings well. I rate it as being 2.5 star.
Could not have been any better. The folks at American Mountain Rentals are awesome. This is our third stay at Rippling Waters and it is incredible. Right on the Little Pigeon River in a very quiet area fairly close to all the action at Pigeon Forge.... Stay at Rippling Waters and eat at Paula Dean's and you can't go wrong!
It was a dreamy place and the views was spectacular. It was a wonderful vacation and the cabin was amazing. I would recommend the Firesidechalets and the women in the office where great can't wait for my next trip.
This business has very poor business practices, they manipulate photo graphs to make places look different (in a better way) and do not fully disclose locations of homes near by. They are rude, and do not handle customer input. Our cabin had damaged kitchen benches, damaged chair, damaged pool table, as well as vents that were caked in dust (very bad health hazard). When we spoke with "management" we were ignored and put off. Our other family members had numerous issues also and not one were validated. We will never reccomend or stay with this company again. WE are so disapointed and the management company is horrible. It is their job to maintain properties, not the "owners" of the home? Those owners put their property in the hands of Bear **** ***** rentals and it is their job to maintain, clean and upkeep properties. I will no longer stay or reccomend this company to our friends and family. - See more at: http://www.bbb.org/knoxville/business-reviews/cabin-cottage-and-chalet-rentals/bear-camp-cabin-rentals-in-pigeon-forge-tn-90012825/customer-reviews?cacheit=y#sthash.CdOnMtEo.dpuf
Bossy and rude! These folks have a really nice place but, unfortunately, the negative side comes with it.
