Workingman's review is spot-on and I agree 100%. I also had a very negative experience there. Be Careful. What sounds like a good deal only results in a return trip that costs you more money. When they say they will take care of it, they do, only they don't call you the second time with the estimate before doing the work. They don't pay for THEIR mistakes, YOU do. Go somewhere else if you can, even if you have to pay a little more.
Husband took my car there to have the front end aligned because our normal repair man did not have the equipment to do so. Said it was $40 but they DID NOT do the alignment. We will NEVER do business with them again....EVER!! I only wish I had read these reviews BEFORE we took the car there. For the sake of your car/truck and your MONEY....STAY AWAY!!

MY RECENT EXPERIENCE will blow your socks off. I had a noise under my car that I expected was exhaust system related. Stopped in and Dale the shop manager confirmed that I did need a new muffler. He got online and ordered the new muffler to be delivered while we waited and he then went into the garage to take off the old while waiting for deliver of the new. A young man setting at the computer answered the phone and called out to Dale that the new muffler would be delivered at 4PM. It was 1:45 at this time. Dale told the young man that relayed the message to call back and tell them that my husband and I were waiting. He told Dale they said they would deliver sooner if they could but did not call the delivery service back. At 3:30 Dale came into the office to check me out. I asked him if they had delivered early and he said no, that he got a muffler from somewhere else. The next day I was informed by another party that I did not have a new muffler. I called Roger's tire the next day and was assured by Dale that I did indeed have a shiny new muffler. I ask if I could bring it and have him put it up on the lift for a visual look myself. He said sure.... When I got there, Roger the owner, told me that I could not get a new muffler for the price I paid. Dale again told me the muffler he ordered initially was NEW. When he put it on the rack I did indeed have a good used muffler, not new!! He was embarrassed, I could tell, and said he did not want to make me wait any longer (I had not complained about the wait) and that he used a used muffler that he had in the shop. Roger maintained that I could not get a new muffler for what I paid and Dale said the price quoted was for a new muffler. $140 I paid. So if you think you are getting good service from this shop, you might want to think again. I am 60 years old and I was taken advantage of, no doubt. I am in the process of filing consumer reports with the state of SC as well as the National Trade Commission. A report to the Better Business Bureau (although they will not contact the business due to them not being a member). I will try and get the local new (On Your Side) involved as well. This shop should be fined heavily and closed if their practices continue.
This place a rip off, rip off, rip off!! We tool my mother's car in for a wheel barron repair after they fixed it her car stI'll made the same noise, so I calley them and we took it back up there, they pulled the car into the shop and told us it needed a wheel barron on the back drivers side and some struts so I asked them did y'all not drive the car after they fixed it? He said they do not drive the car after they fix them. That blew me away what mechanic doesn't test drive a car after they fix it?? So they charged my mom another 30.×× dollars just to tell her that she needed another wheel barron on the other side. So we come back a month later to have the other wheel barron put on the back drivers side, we dropped the car off and come back an hour and a half later because they never called us to tell us it was ready. After we paid another 150.00 (totaling 330.xx ) my mother drove away only to hear the same exact noise again! So we took it back and they claimed it was the other wheel barron that is bad so she supposedly had 3 bad wheel Barrons but only told us about them one at a time! We were upset and when we asked for a refund or for them to fix the correct wheel barron he refused and was very rude and disrespectful and some other man I never met who looks related to them started getting loud and waving his hands in my face! No good will ever come to Rogers tire and auto I don't know how they can sleep at night the way they take advantage of people. My mother is 72 years old and lives on a fix income and can't afford to be ripped off!
I have been coming to Roger's Tire N Auto for about eleven years and have always had excellent service. Roger and his employees treat their customers like family. The prices are reasonable, service is excellent, and if they find a problem, it is fixed without delay. I appreciate everything they have done over the years, whether I dropped in for an oil change or they had to come pick me up due to a breakdown. They are the best.
I have been using Rogers now for years and am so impressed with their outstanding service. They are not only awesome at the work they do, but they give me a ride home when I drop off the van and pick me up when it is ready - amazing and precision work by these mechanics. I have never once been disappointed and could not thank them enough for always being there for me.
So glad to have them in Piedmont.
Words can't express how the guys at Roger's Tire -N- Auto saved me from having a car accident.. I went rushing in for an oil change already running late for work. I was greated with "Good morning, how can we help you today" I immediately felt welcomed. I asked how long would it take to get me in. There were card in every spot. The owner said 'right away, do you have the keys?' I was like YESSS. I handed the guy my keys and he said, wait, I can't let you leave like this, your front tire is showing wires!! I'm freaking out because I'm already late for work plus my banking account was not ready for this. He said let me check to see if we have a used tire. I'm saying all of that to say this.... Hands down, the knowledge of the staff, the quality of customer service, the affordable price and the fact that they care made all the difference in the world to me today. This was my second visit here and I will most definitely be back!! ---Highly satisfied customer---
Had my car in for a tuneup. When I picked it up it ran horrible. I called them back and they said I would have to make an appointment and pay for anything they find! Wow... It ran better when I took it in. I took it to another shop and they showed me a snapped off sparkplug. What the hell? They had to "eazy out it" and put a new one in. It told them to take the rest of the plugs out and make sure they were put in correctly. 2 of them had smashed electrodes one was cracked. That is 4 out of 6. This place is an absolute joke! They are scam artist and do not care about you or your car. They have no ethics or know the concept of return customers. If you take your car there after reading all of these reviews, you deserve what you get!
