Alcott Rehabilitation Hospital was my doctor’s suggestion for my Mother when she was at Hollywood Presbyterian after hip replacement surgery. He called it “#1 in korea town,” and after touring Grandpark, olimpia convalescent, and mid wilshirehealth I see why he prefers Alcott Rehab.The facility was neat, clean, didn’t smell at all, and the staff was serious about care. Maybe a little too serious because it took a few days for me to understand that they are direct professional and not always bubbly and chatty. Don’t get me wrong, I like those overly friendly personalities, but with my mom’s care, I want her to get serious quality care. I want to thank Mrs Myung for her attention to detail with my mom and how she addressed a couple concerns. She jumped on it and didn’t waste any time. Now that my moms at home, I’m telling people how Alcott is the #1 Korean skilled nursing in Los Angeles.

I toured this facility and found the staff friendly and helpful. They directed me to who I was visiting and even walked with me to the room. The building smelled fresh and the garden was very pretty with blooming flowers. I can see why people say this is Korea Town (k-town)'s number one #1 nursing home for skilled nursing and rehab.Staff went out of my way to make sure that I parked on the right side of the street because of street cleaning days, and I was impressed that they took the time to care that I did not get a ticket. I think that shows a good example of the type of care they provide their patients.

My 70 mother has been living alone since she was 60 years of age and when we asked her to shift to a retirement home last year, we accepted resistance. However, one of her friends was a resident of Hollenbeck Palms and that’s where she wanted to go. With regular trips with her friends to the museum, shows, restaurants, and of curse, evening bingo and music, we could not have asked for a better care facility.

After I was admitted to this filthy hospital, I laid in bed for over an hour and ironically NO ONE came into during that hour to check on me or ever gave me a wristband. (The paramedics put me to bed) When someone did come into my room my health was NOT a issue as they came to SEARCH me and my belongings. When I refused to let a lady with NO hospital i.d. search me I was escorted out by security.

First off, the name of the facility has been changed to Lakeview Terrace Convalescent Home. A good friend of mine has recently been admitted here. I've visited her, and I'm going again today. The staff here make the facility. They are competent, friendly and caring. I've worked in a convalescent home so I know what I'm talking about. Great staff. Very attentive.

This place is horrible dirty just nasty. Who puts 4 people in room with 2 TV'S to share. Only 2 people can see. Old lac usc was not this bad. My daughter is on med surg it's combined with maternity ward. Who does that. The nurses don't explain what they are about to do you they just do it. They are painting & doing construction all while patients are in rooms. IPA'S & ins companies need to investigate where they are sending there patients.

This is the worst place ever, the dr's and nurses don't know craps ! It's horrible and dirty! SHUT IT DOWN! All the nurses and staff answer the same "I don't know"!! It doesn't even deserve a star it's garbage!
