I just wanted to touch base with you and update you on my employment. I just got hired on with Mainstream Commercial Divers out of Kentucky for a 6-8 week job, with the possibility of becoming a permanent employee after this project. I am also on the work rotation for EMC Divers in New Smyrna Beach, FL. and will be doing freelance work for them as my schedule permits. Thank you for all the advice you gave us while we were there. I found myself thinking back to things you said and going over the notes I took during your classes many times during my job search, and I'm confidant that it played a factor in me finding a job. I know a lot of guys goof off in classes and don't pay attention, but I know I sincerely appreciated everything you taught us and found it immensely helpful.
I've used Johnston's a few times, and have always felt that the best interests of my car were always first & foremost, not making a quick buck. I've used other mechanics, and had shoddy service & been overcharged. Not Johnston's. They come with a fair price, often even beating out the so-called "discount" repair shops. Additionally, Johnston's has never talked me into work that didn't need to be done - it's been more than one occasion where I thought my car was due for some maintenance (say, brakes for example) and I find out from them that it's not yet due. I have resolved not to take my car anywhere else - they have earned my trust, and my business!
I have had a long string of unacceptable truck repair experiences since moving back to Phoenix... Lies, poor work, over charges and unneeded work. A co-worker mentioned Johnston's to me when I had a large repair issue, I am so happy I took a chance. I was treated fairly and most importantly with honesty, they even called to say I did not need to do something I asked them to do (when does that ever happen?). When we need repairs all we want is good honest work at a fair price. That is exactly what I got from Johnston's PLUS some extra service you do not see much these days! This is the only place I will bring my truck for repair from now on. Thank You!!!
It is always a bummer when it comes time to get car repairs because it is an inconvenience and extra expense. Johnston's, however, always makes my car troubles as painless as possible. Work has always been done the same day, they offer transportation so I miss as little work as possible, and there isn't ever any pressure to spend more than necessary. My very first experience with Johnston's, several years back, was all it took for me to know I was getting quality service without being up-sold on unnecessary repairs. Always a pleasure when working with Johnston's!
Honest people, excellent service. None better. Fantastic service as always, Dwight and his staff have a real sense of urgency which is greatly appreciated. As My passenger window would no function and due to the rainy weather, they stepped up and didn't waste anytime to get it repaired in record time. As Johnston's has such a central location I continue to take my vehicle there time after time and have never been let down or disappointed with their superior level of customer service, professionalism and let's work together to get the job done.
Have an 02' grand caravan that dropped a tranny in the middle of the road. Was going to sell because the van has over 203k miles. Was referred to mark who quoted me a price that was a small fortune lower than my lowest quote. Came with a 12 month unlimited mile warranty. Price was as quoted and van runs like new. Who knew a new tranny could make such a difference. Good guys who answer all questions quickly and honestly. i will be having Mark and his crew do all my mechanical work going forward as well...Very happy.
I was out of town for some time and my father in-law's air-conditioning failed. He took it to a tire store, where they managed to not only misdiagnose, but to compound the issue by failing to burp the cooling system after selling him a radiator flush. When I came home, the air-conditioning was still inoperative and now it was overheating. Called Johnston's Saturday morning and had the car towed in. Got it back in perfect operating shape Tuesday morning. Happy father-in-law, happier son-in-law!

Thanks to Dwight for providing a high standard of repair and in helping me keep my 10 year old car running soundso I can keep getting some years out of it especially in this economy where buying a new car isn't going to happen.
You guys are the only shop I trust to repair/maintain my car. I never get suggested repairs that are unnecessary like at the dealer, and the repairs/maintenance are always done well and in a timely manner.
