She was short and rude with both me and the other person who was with me. Wouldn't help the other person because she had over booked and was even more rude about that. To top it off I tried to explain to her what I wanted with my hair but instead of listening to me she kept telling me it's was her business and she knew what she was doing and then procided to butcher my hair. Would not recommend

I went there to get a my hair colored with foils. Everything went fine until she, the manager, came back to the chair to check the coloring. It was ready to be washed. Washed it, first in cold water and I was going to say something then it went to warm, then 'hot'. i had to tell her it was hot and opening my pores. She just laughed. Then i put that craziness behind me.I went to my chair again and from that point on, she wouldn't talk to me and when she was done, I had to get close to see that the part, was crocked. I didn't have my glasses on.When I left it bothered me that she had changed from talking to me, to giving me the cold shoulder. When I got home I remembered about the 'hot' water and decided to write this. I think one of the other stylist (no customers) must have said something negative about me. Too harm someone with hot water is very disturbing to me and she's the manager! I wont go again.
The worst hair salon I ever seen in my life! I recommend do not go to this hair salon at all for a lot of reasons: 1) they are not professionals & no experience to do natural and human hairs. 2) very unhygienic & bad customer service. 3) The safety issue is right there.I went to wash & style of sewed costly human hair to this hair salon. one of the employee washed me with a regular shampoo & conditioner & warped it in a wrong way. I was tying to redirect her by saying the human hair can be tangled. She reacted with a strong attitude. Finally, my human hair very tangled until hard to untangled it. the employee freaked out & started calming my extension hair aggressively with no excuses. This leads my scalp bleeding, scratching, pulled my expensive human hair out & causes a bad headache and tears on my eyes but no one cares about me. in fact laughing & talking with their African language which I do not understand at all. Finally, owner Jenny presents her self and tried to fix but worst. she finally wants iron my wet human hair and I stopped her to make it dry first. She was not aware of what she was trying to do and tried to dry with high power of blow dryer leads to burn of my face and scalp. I assisted my self in a dryer for 10 min. she does not care what she was doing but her reaction was so obsessive & offending.Plus, irresponsible to her acts. short story long she flat my human hair awful & charged me $60 which didn't deserve to get paid at all. very costly and unreasonable to her horrible service. This kind of act & mistake happened with me for a third time. I believe in change but the owner Jenny & her employees are the kind of people who resist for a change & very closed mind for learning. I mean whose ever going to this beauty salon is at risk of safety issues regardless of the professional issues. Should be reported to the state of Arizona cosmetology department very soon.
Years ago I went into a Smart Style and they butchered my hair. It was bad enough that people were stopping me in the street to tell me how bad it was (I'm not kidding). I went to Alex and he fixed it without shaving my head - which was incredible. Fast forward a few weeks, my mom goes to a different Smart Style, and I kid you not, they ruined her hair (I don't know why she went there instead of Alex, who I was recommending). She goes to Alex and he fixes it. Not just fixes it - but makes it so good that my overly-picky mother is thrilled. We've both been going to Alex ever since. It's really great because he's very professional, but very laid back. He can joke around, but you'll never hear anything negative or offensive from him. He takes the time to listen and find out what you want and then makes his suggestions, but ultimately in the end you get what YOU want instead of what he thinks you should have (which I think we've all experienced at least once or twice with other stylists in other places).The whole environment at his salon is very stress-free. Get some tea, coffee, water or wine, sit back and relax. You get a massage (if you want one, I skip but my mom always has hers, I'm just not a "touchy" person) and then you just sit back. I've never left unhappy.I know that sometimes it can be a "red flag" when a place has all 5 star ratings, but he really does deserve them, and I'm saying this as a customer, not a family member or a friend. He does a really fantastic job.
