careful working with Kimbo and Valerie Godwin of Westco Steel. almost a year and a half, they have owed over $115,000 for floor joists, they will not answer or return calls and have made NO attempt to pay a single penny in 16 months. don't invest, don't extend credit, don't give them work

July 14 - No one from NXS has done any work this entire week. June 29 - no one on my job today.June 28 - my front yard after everyone went home. Zero respect for our home.Contracted in April with $17k deposit for an est 3 week masterbath remodel. Started May 30th with another $7k paid on Jun 1st. My floor tile selection wasn't ordered so I had to reselect something with quik delivery. My bathroom windows were not ordered until after the job started, even though we paid the large deposit partially to cover "materials"I bought my own finishes out of my pocket for vanities, faucets, and marble countertops. Pictures with walls are yesterday. Pictures without walls were June 13th. Still need tile installed, shower glass and wall mirrors, all finishes installed, plumbing and electric hooked up. Will update at top as progress.
We contracted with NXS in March for work to begin after April 15. They neglected to order our cabinets so they didn't arrive until mid-May but, they were the wrong color and one the wrong size. The bathroom niche had to be redone three times before it was straight. A job that was suppose to take a couple of weeks took months. I suggest you do your self a favor and get estimates from other re-modelers.
Great customer service, As soon as my family and I walked in they offered us beverages and we're very polite, they made us feel at home right away. We did lots of shopping around for tile before stopping in here and the prices are very competitive. Everywhere else we went before finding bolder image was just exhausting for us because we would drive to all these different tile places only to find that they didn't have what we wanted in stock or the prices were too high. The day we came by was on a Sunday (which is when the store is usually closed) and when we realized they were closed and called to set up an appointment for another day the owner was nice enough to actually Come in right when we called him to help us. We purchased the tile for our home from them as well as thin set and grout and had the material installed. Our home is now done and we couldn't be happier! Thanks bolder image for making our home remodeling experience a breeze. It was a pleasure working with you and definitely will be recommending friends and family to you in the future.
This place has a huge selection of mismatched items. The customer service is ZERO! . The sign displayed isn't necessarily what they charge. The owner stated that himself and seemed to be proud of it! In addition to the 12% surcharge, they are disorganized and argumentative. I love supporting family owned businesses, which are typically customer friendly. In the future I will stick with the big box stores.
THE WORST COMPANY IN THE UNIVERSE... RUN FOR THE HILLS... Jason the owner is the most unprofessional business man I have ever met. WE got out laminate floor throughout our entire 2600 square foot home around three years ago, and right out of the gate we had problems. Finally after three years, he agreed to change out the floor, this was after chasing him down, and put in a new tile floor as he himself shared along with his partner that this floor was bad. We even offered him, against our better judgement, to give him more work which involved extending the floor into the kitchen since we had an open floor plan. We were going to pay another $5K for the extension and stepping up to the plate. After all was said and done, this was to be done in November when I got back into town. I could not reach him. The messaging stopped, he will not return any calls and he does NOT back up what he says. He comes across as a really nice guy, but I am telling you.. .we paid around $10K for this floor, his partner and other people from his company came and all agreed the floor was bad and should be replaced, and we still can't reach him. I don't know who is making his reviews, but we have been more than patient with him and his company, and we are now at the point we are trying to warn others you are in for nothing but problems and if I were you considering flooring or anything for that matter, I would go elsewhere to a company that has a good reputation; that will back up what they say and not string you along. All the molding on our floors has fallen apart. I have fallen three times now from getting caught in the holes in my floor; there are gaps that are undeniable and we are really upset spending all this money with a guy who promised us the moon and gave us nothing in return. If you are considering this company, if it is even in business anymore, I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.UPDATE 3.28.12. He has still not made good after promising to make it right. Anyone doing business with him or Lowes check out who is installing your floor as a subcontracter. If it is him, request another company. He does poor work and he is in process of claiming bankruptcy. I don't think he is even bonded or insured. If he was, he should have done what was needed to fix our floors which now are all coming apart, the molding is all broken off and the floor looks like it was cut around the edges by a 2 year old. We will now have to spend another 10K to replace this floor in order to sell this house. How unfortunate.
