DO not use their appraisers. The husband and wife team who "appraised" our property were way over their collective heads and had almost no clue how too deal with our unique and multi-million dollar property. Their ignorance of our market and property even left another appraiser scratching their head in disbelief. Do yourself a favor and use someone else even if it means a second appraisal.

This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL group of individuals I have EVER had the misfortune to work with. First when I called to inquire about a property I was told that the owner of the home was negotiable on the price and was particularly looking for a long term tenant. I was also told that I needed to submit an application ($70 for both adults) before we could talk about price or anything. So my fiance and I submitted the applications and called the next day to negotiate. When I called I was told now that the applications have been submitted there could not be any negotiations. So I asked to speak with the property manager about this issue. I was told that he was on the phone and would call me back. (this was at 11 AM) I received a call at 4:30PM from a woman that was not helpful to say the least. This woman who was not the property manager called me and when I asked if Jamont (property manager) would be calling me. She said that he was on the phone and would call me or I could stay on the line. She asked me if she could help so I explained the situation to her. (we are looking for a longer lease and trying to knock $50 off the rent price) She told me that the owner is someone they worked with before and that he is a "stickler" so the price wont drop and that he wont let a tenant sign longer than a 12 month lease. (exact opposite of what I was told) So then I asked if Jamont could give me a call and I was given the option to wait or have him call me back. I chose the option to wait and then was told by the lady that "he was just going to tell me the same thing so why wait?" So then I changed my decision to have him call me. So the next day I waited till 4 30 PM and still no call from Jamont or anyone from this company. I called the office and unfortunately got the same useless woman. Her excuse this time is that he was very busy and that she cant make him call me. Also for some reason she kept stating that approvals on applications were handled by the owner and the property manager. (this did not pertain to my issue at all) So when I told this lady that I am very busy as well and that my time doesnt need to be taken for granted she stated that he is busy and she cant make him do anything. (kinda sounded childish) so here I am still with no call and I am out of $70. I cannot believe how UNPROFESSIONAL and CHILDISH this company is and I hope they go under really soon.
My wife and I are looking at moving from the Midwest and took a tour around Phoenix (Mesa) with Home Lovers. They were great in listening to what we wanted and showed us several houses for rent that were exactly what we had discussed via phone. We haven't decided whether to buy or rent on the move but our experience with them will make it easy for us to have a source of information when the day comes. Thanks for helping us with our plans knowing that we weren't even in the market at the time!
