This company was horrible. I hired them for pool cleaning service when I was out of town and they totally took advantage of me. I met with the tech (who never showed up on the scheduled days) and saw first hand the horrible inexperienced service. I never signed any contract and demanded they stay off my property and that their so called service was no longer wanted. They then continued to charge me for service that they never performed! and sent me to a collection agency called nimos that showed up on my credit! I was furious! I would not recommend any type of business with these scammers! if I had more time I would have taken them to court. save your valuable time and money and learn from my mistake of hiring this company!
This is the worst pool company I have ever has to my house to service the pool. In my opinion: the owners are unethical. My last pool company left the business so I had to replace them. Every service call, their technician fills out a form when he has serviced the pool, and it basically states all of the tests he had done that day, and the equipment he checked. However, he also filled out this form and checked he had done the services, even when I wasn't home to let him in (when he showed up on different days or the wrong times). I pointed this out to the owner who did not see a problem with this falsification of a service report.The technician kept trying me to change my day to Friday, when I was originally set up on Thursdays. He complained that it was more convenient on Friday for him. I said no, and he asked me, "Well, just what is wrong with me coming on Friday? (none of his business why I can't be there on Friday). But I am generally not home that day and I have a pit bull, so I have to be there to make sure the tech safely enters the backyard. The owner said I should just leave them a key. I told him this would never happen, I don't give out my keys to my property to strangers. But the most incredulous, deceitful practice is that they bill you even when the tech calls out sick for the week. This happened twice. When I questioned this policy, the owner defended it saying they aIways bill the monthly rate regardless, and that it would all work out over the year! (What)? I tried to resolve several of my concerns with the owner,, but they only became very defensive and argumentative. This pool company is a problem, with questionable practices. I do not recommend them all.
I have recently bought a house with an in-ground, backyard pool. I was trying to decide if I wanted to keep it or fill it in, as the plaster was in bad shape. I consulted with magic matts pools and they were wonderful. After going over the benefits of fiberglass and the cost, I decided to have it resurfaced. The pool is beautiful and I could not be happier. Mathew and Chris are very friendly and professional. I will use them for any future pool needs, as well as recommend them.
