Great selection of authentic Mexican food. I really like the chipotle style hot sauce as an app. One thing that always hits home, is there horchata.Perfect for summer cool downs, especially with a shot of rum.

I am giving this restaurant a five out of five stars for the quality of seafoods they serve. I am glad that I became a regular customer of this establishment.
Ordered tea, no sugar in sight. Sat a b-day party next to us in empty restaurant. BUG in my salad. Mid-rare steak was raw. Got meal comped, but still.
Love this place , very welcoming. Food and drinks always Consistent.. Bartender Morgan rocks..
Just tried Barrio Queen for the first time last week and was delighted. We ate on the patio with the atmospheric blue lights and had fresh guacamole prepared table side by Cody. It was delicious with fresh pomegranate seeds. Flavors of the food were wonderful and we could tell someone knew their way around a kitchen! It is more upscale but worth it. Their homemade chips were fantastic! All in all, from service by Cody to the food to the patio it was delightful and we will return!
This is place is HUGE which makes it great for company dinners. Most of the times I'm here on a Friday or Saturday night, the wait-line is long and the service is slow. The steaks are good but a little steep in price compared to other steak houses around and on the East valley. One thing I would recommend is to try their gator.
I went there a few times... not impressed. You can't smoke an E-Cig (they will boot you for it) and either you drink or get out. DDs are irrelevant. They kicked my brother and sister-in-law and threatened to boot my girlfriend (who was my DD) because they weren't drinking. I was celebrating a new career and didn't matter. My brother and sister-in-law CAN'T drink. They were there for me, but either you drink or get out.
Food was good and prices ok. One big draw back the host and the owners were very rude. There were four of us 2 adults and 2 children not young 13 and 10. We didn't have reservations but it was early and had a lot of tables open But they were acting like they didn't want us and like it was a big problem to seat us. The hoste who was also r server was not friendly. We order drinks (adults) appetizers and full meals even for kids. Food was very good. BUT don't know if we would go back because of treatment. Also we r quite the foodies even the kidsThat is y we chose this place when we were staying in downtown Phoenix for a event I might go back but read a previous review and the same thing was said and they went back 4 times. Same each time rude.
food and service are great
Best fish and chips in town hands down. The fish is fresh and they cut it themselves in the back. The staff is super friendly. Definitely will be coming back.
