I would rate this place 0 stars if it were an option. My boyfriend was here from feb 2017 until the end of November 2017 and during the first four months of his stay the administration and Care was perfect, then everything changed once the director of nursing left. The new D.O.N ended up firing current stuff and hiring all new nursing and CNA fresh out of school. My boyfriends mom and I were there every single day throughout the course of his stay and had a number of complaints, but Was repeatedly told They would work things out to give them time, but nothing was ever done and it only got worse. Only to find out the truth once we left from old staff members that were fired or quit. they started skipping necessary med passes (seizure medications, anti-psychotics..), bringing unauthorized visitors behind the nurses’ station in sight of all of the HIPAA violations, and sleeping with boyfriends inside of empty patient rooms... At 2:30am, when there’s no administration in sight, these nurses thought they could do anything..an old coworker there told me that their administrator decided to set up a hidden camera, after multiple CNAs reported incidences. the Meds were recorded as given, but being dumped in purses or bags to take home. Nurses were sleeping during these Q2, Q4 passes & neglecting the patients. Sometimes they would go missing for the entire shift, only to be dropped off around 5am, as they rushed to finish their charting and edit the time stamps. Do not take your loved ones here!

Absolutely horrible place to be put into. I was out of the hospital with an accident and the workmans comp would not pay for the best place in Anwatukee so I got this place. It is true: you cannot get your meds when you need them. You have good food, yes. The medical care and the socialw work is about a 1 on a 1-10 scale, 10 being the highest. They did not even get a wheelchair or medical equipment ordered for when I got out. Horrible Horrible care. Except one man nurse, but he was stretched too thin when he was there and not there enough. The staff wanted me to go into shower chair in a dangerous way...very unsafe,as I had falled in the communty dut to wax. Run Run Run. They charge money!! We should be given money to stay there. They work with workmans comp to give us less physical therapy than you need and worse and shorter time of care than needed. I did not have time to report them to skilled nursing facility monitoring agency. Meds not on time.
While I was a resident at Grace HealthCare for 32 days, one staff member attempted to steal my cash, credit card, and cell phone. I asked that this Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) not be allowed to enter my room. After I complained, then came the retribution. My oxygen line was cut; my cell phone charger was damaged so I couldn't charge my phone. Internet use is suppressed there by management, but I was able to email my friend to rescue me from that dreadful place.
I was very excited to have a doctor so close to my home in Laveen. However, I would not recommend this practice to anyone. The doctor seems to be OK, but the staff is rude and doesn't seem to know what they're doing. After visiting their office for two appointments, and again to pick up a release form they did not tell me that I had to pay $50 to have some paperwork filled out. When I called the following week to check on it, they let me know that they couldn't send the paperwork until I paid. Then they told me that I would have to come in to pay it instead of taking my payment over the phone. I had been off of work for two weeks and I wasn't about to take more time off to go down and pay in person. Then they needed to refer me to a specialist, except the specialist they referred me to doesn't treat the ailment that I was diagnosed with. They never called me to tell me that they were referring me elsewhere. I had to find out by calling the specialist. When they say they're going to call you, they don't. When you walk in the office, no one greets you. I won't be visiting this office again if I don't have to.This was originally posted on 3/19/14. As of 4/16/14 I am still working on getting a referral. I have also asked that the office manager contact me twice, and have not heard from anyone.
Capri has changed alot for the good. I sent my husband there expecting the worst according to the other reviews. They have new people in charge and they want to help all they can. We started off on a negitve note but, they promised they would help and they did! What a pleasent suprise someone doing what they say. Thanks to Tom and his staff my husband came home in 3 weeks making great strides in his complete recovery!
EMPLOYEES ARE VERY RUDE THERE ESPECIALLY THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK NAMED MARI, I WOULD NOT WANT TO SEND ANY OF MY RELATIVES TO THIS PLACE SEEING HOW RUDE EMPLOYEES ARE, IF YOU HAVE A BAD STAFF I BELIEVE THEY TREAT THEIR CLIENTS BAD AND THATS NOT GOOD, I THIINK THEY NEED TO BE CHECKED OUT OR MAYBE JUST SOME EMPLOYEES.......VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, I WOULD OF LOVED TO WORK THERE BUT NOT NOW AFTER I HAVE ENCOUNTERED SUCH DISRESPECT FROM WORKERS AT THIS FACILITY.
Do you want substandard care? Do you want to be in pain while recovering from major surgery and not get pain medication or have an incompetent doctor tellk you that any other pain is "just stress?" Then by all means, go here. If you want somewhere where they actually care about you, then DEFINITELY go somewhere else. This place is lousy, understaffed, and you have to wait forever for them to answer your call light. Run far away from here.
