My wife and our daughter went to get their nails (manicure/pedicure) my daughter had told the lady the length she wanted; nail tech cut them shorter than she wanted and when my daughter informed her the Tech just brushed it off ; instead of redoing them since she hadn't done anything else yet. My daughter has a very innocent heart so she didn't give any push back. When my wife went to sit by her she noticed the length. My daughter explained that she let the tech know, but the tech just let it go. I notice from in the car everyone watching this argument between Conner (the owner), 2 lady nail techs & my wife/daughter. He repeatedly accused my daughter "lacking communication skills".. without asking for refunds or being rude & unprofessional like Conner My family walks outside to let me know what's going on. Over all, this time the customer was not in the wrong. Conner should have never had a shouting match with my wife and daughter. We were never rude and 2 other clients agreed that he was extremely rude prior to me walking in. They had already paid at this point. When I asked what he thinks would be the best solution, He offered $5 for the inconvenience towards our next appointment, PATHETIC! From one business owner to another, everyone has bad days, but you would never catch me arguing and pointing blame at a young girl and her mother. Especially being a male, I would never want some lady and her daughter feeling intimidated. Sorry for my rant but this really pissed me off.
Great service. Kind people. Awesome selection of color and services. They are Pretty on point with every other nail salon in their price range.
I hate to give such a negative review but I this place is pretty bad. I tried it because it was close to my house. I went for a pedicure and my daughter was getting acrylic nails. We had an appointment. When I walked in it was pretty busy (surprisingly) but no one greeted me. I stood there for a couple minutes and finally called out to ask how I check in. I wanted to leave and I wish I had. So after waiting for 10 more minutes they sent me back to a chair. Some older man started working on my feet. My feet were sitting in a tub of cold water the whole time. He obviously didn't really know what he was doing. He had trouble finding the actual polish remover and then was filing my nails before they were cut. Then a woman came over and took over for him. She was more experienced but my feet still sat in a tub of cold water. I asked if I was going to get hot water so they added some hot water but not moving around. Anyway, she massaged my feet and legs a bit and ended up doing my nails ok. They looked acceptable when done. My daughter had a younger man working on her acrylics who also seemed not to know what he was doing. He was getting the adhesive all over her cuticles so it was burning. Then he lumped on big piles of gel to fill in leaving big humps. Again someone else stepped in midway after they were done with another customer. He seemed to know what he was doing but they had already been screwed up. She had picked a clear polish with glitter. They put the wrong nails on so they had to use some other opaque silver polish. The polish wasn't even put on nicely. They looked horrible. It was cheap but still not worth it because we had to go have her nails redone somewhere else. Will not be going back.
I love this place and recently (w/in the past 6 months ) I switched from acrylic to gel and let me just say I wished I would've done it sooner!!Here is what I've noticed:1. The gel grows out with my nails .. in other words when the corners of my natural nail starts to curl the gel adheres to it so NO LIFTING !!2. I have gone up to 4 weeks between fills w/no breaking (however I try and go every 3 weeks) or chipping! 3. The gel shine generally last 3 weeks for me! (I wear gloves when I clean) 4. The color selection is unlimited .. I used to wear only pink and white acrylic 5. The price comparison to other places maybe a lil higher ($5??) and it's worth it because other places are not using the same quality product ( I've tried multiple places cuz I'm frugal!) The owner, Kim, is a perfectionist and does top notch work and it shows in the daily compliments I get on my nails !!
Easily the worst nail experience of my life. From being rushed to pick out a color (i literally got there, picked up the swatches and the guy yanked them from my hands and told me to go sit) to being physically hurt. When I sat down, his station was dirty and the towel he had me rest on was covered in nail clippings and polish from a previous client. I always get gel color, which I realize has to be removed with acetone. I have very dry hands, and when he went to remove the color, he wrapped them then forcefully pulled my hands upwards, causing acetone to run heavily all over my hands, just to give me a massage which I've never received during the removal of gel. After, he aggressively scraped off the remainder, so tough that it hurt. When he went to remove cuticle, he ripped and tore which was incredibly uncomfortable. When I asked him to cut them short, he told me it would look very bad, despite the fact I have to keep them short for work, then proceeded to call me a name. He sped through every step like it was a race. Painting took less than 15 seconds per hand. When it came time to wipe them with acetone, he did it so hard he made me bleed. I'm never going back again.
I witnessed the manager being very rude to an older woman ..she had been cut by one of the operators working on her pedicure and complained ..instead of apologizing they told her to get out and don't come back.. I hope sues them
