I love this restaurant. We go there almost once a week. Great happy hour prices. Great service! Damien the bartender always offers great drinks and laughs. The tacos, mexican pizza and grilled honey hot wings are our favorites for happy hour.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN THEM NO STARS, I WOULD HAVE DONE THAT! DO NOT COME HERE!!! We had a bad experience in the Bell Rd location, I came home and sent an e-mail complaint in and was IGNORED! I sent in a second complaint and was sent back a LONG letter attacking my complaint in the first place. I have news for these OWNERS- With customer service like this you will close soon. One thing BILL said to me was no one else complained about that nights service. I can tell you with complete confidence, no one else may have complained but I guarantee there were other people that will just not come back. THE LETTER THAT CAME BACK WAS RUDE, AGGRESSIVE, SELF INDULGENT AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Terrible that they have such an inflated self ego that they do not care and even worse yet feel inclined to attack anyone who did not like their experience at this establishment. Shame on Bill and Janie RIddleValle Luna just lost our business. Never-mind that they would not accept the Restaurants.com certificate from Valle Luna...the service sucked and the food was bland and tasteless. We have been customers at Valle Luna on Bell Rd for years, and the service and food is steadily declining. Our waitress had no personality, was barely friendly, put her fingers and a potholder in our meals, our drink cups and the chips and salsa were empty most of the time. The enchilada sauce was completely bland tasted like it was strait from a can. Barely any meat in the taco or tamales. The kids plates could not be considered a meal, maybe a snack, but definitely not worth 4.50. On this visit we did not have to wait to be seated, like we normally do, and I think I can see why, if the food and service are this bad all the time now it is not worth the money. I think the only thing keeping them in business is the happy hour drinks and menus.I will not be going back again, Valle Luna you just lost a customer. I will be going to Manual's, or Macayo's, or any one of the other Mexican restaurants in Phoenix. I don't need to pay through the nose for bad service and so so food.

to start food is good this was are 5th time BUT ! I had noticed how dirty the celing was before and had blown it off but after last night wont go there again first we were sat at a wobbly table the waiter was nice and moved us then we ate our first basket of chips when we picked it up there was a fresh dead roach & roach guts I used a straw wraper to wipe it up (had no extra napkins) & when I showed it to the waiter I got the sense of yep just another one he offered me another basket of chips wish I had just left but I was starving so why dosen't someone fix that table?....the place is a wreck and no one seems to care & when the waiter was checking out the bug he touched it with his thumb that same thumb was in my next bowl of salsa I cant figure out why I did not leave yuck

We love Valle Luna at 35th and Bell

We have never had a bad meal at this location. The service is always good, but the last time we were there the service was excellent. Looking forward to the time we join you for lunch or dinner.

Worst restaurant ever!!!!

This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life!!! Horrible service, crappy food and the place is disgusting! Rainbow flies flying around the place and in my food, waiters and bartenders have horrible attitudes and have no respect for their customers! The place was filthy as soon as I walked in the door! The food tasted horrible and was undercooked and I found hair in my food as well. The restaurants manager "Jesse" was a prick and was a self absorbed douchebag and had no repect and the worst attitude ive seen. These people and this restaurant need to get there act together and clean the place or shut down and never re-open! Valle luna on cave creek and greenway was the complete opposite! Great food, great service, clean place and a fun atmoshere...kudos to Valle Luna on cave creek! Dont ever go to Valle Luna on Bell road!!!!

Our favorite Mexican food place

My daughter tipped us off on Valle Luna. Got a coupon in the mail for buy one get one free so we all piled in the car and tried it. So glad we did!

The place, as usual, was busy but they get us seated promptly. The atmosphere and service is fine but the food is even better. And at 2 for 1 prices you can go on the cheap and still have a great meal. Highly recommended.....even at full price, and it's not that much.

GREAT CASUAL MEXICAN DINING...

We discovered this restaurant through advertising at our hotel while spending the weekend in Glendale. It was easy to find because the parking lot was full of cars. Friday night and no waiting, and we were seated in the "red room" which was a favorite of local patrons. Service was quick, presentation was unique, and food was spicy and delicious. Prices very reasonable. Divided bar area with additional outdoor seatiing. I would highly recommend this restaurant...

The service is friendly but very disappointed, my Tea glass has been empty for over 5min, I could not order a side of cheese sauce with out an appitizer, my wife could not sub for a spinich enchilada on her combo plate, no one has come by to offer more chips, the bowl has been empty for 10 min. We have many other choices for good mex food. We probably wont return.

Mexican Slop

I have never enjoyed a meal at this restaurant. Everything tastes the same and it seems that they deep fry all the same items in one deep fryer. The salsa is bland and the chips are undercooked. Did not enjoy....

I have been in the valley since 1978 and I love Mexican food. I have eaten at restaurants all over Arizona. This is the best Mexican restaurant in the valley. The hot sauce and chips are great. Good price for a great meal. I wish there was one in the Arrowhead area.

General Info
We invite you to enjoy the very best in Sonoran style dishes, our family atmosphere, luncheon specials, children's menus and our fast, friendly service, Valle Luna Restaurants, established 1983. Valle Luna, which means Moon Valley, is an old fashioned family business that proudly observes the Sonoran food traditions. The entire southern border of Arizona is bounded by the great Mexican state of Sonora. With their proximity and stark topographical similarities, it is only natural that these two friendly states would share their cultures, and reflect such things as architecture and building style, some music and language and of course, food traditions.
