We have had Sears Maintenance for about 25 yrs. Have our appliances & TVs checked every year. All the techs were really good, except for our AC. He never showed up on the day scheduled. Waited 6 hrs. Showed up 2 days later, never checked our thermostat, refused to leave a receipt, said they don't give receipts. All the other techs gave us a receipt. Our refrigerator, freezer has been repaired at least 3 times in 2017. They refuse to replace it. Not a good appliance & it is a Sears Elite. Except for the AC & refrig, everything else is great

I am so happy with my service and my repair man. I wanted to throw my washer into the street before my service man fixed my LG front loader. It would not spin the water out of any load no matter what was in the load. I washed 3 loads today with no problem-what a pleasant day! Thank you Sears and My repair man. He was simply great and my machine worked great which it has not done in a while!!
The call to Sear's repair service did not go un-noticed. They responded with a date the day after Thanksgiving! Wow. Not to be beat, the Sears' technician was very experienced in diagnosing and repairing my clothes dryer within a half hour. The relief his expertise brought was greatly appreciated as we thought that it might cost more and might be more involved than what actually transpired. Please pass along my compliment for great service to your technician Jordan J. Great Job, Jordan!
On phone said water heater was under warranty. They then sent a technition out for $90. He confirmed what I already knew. The tank was bad. Had a new water heater installed by Sears 5.5 years ago with a 9 year warranty. They refused to honor the warranty. STAY AWAY FROM SEARS. They are up to their old tricks.
Sears was very prompt in scheduling our call to repair our 14 yr old washer. The technician arrived at our home on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it by replacing a part, all in about 30 minutes. He was also very cordial and explained everything to us. We were very pleased with Sears service.
Sears repaired my washer, service guy did a great job. Beware of LG, repair people seem lost, when they came to repair my washer it worked for 6 months then it started leaking. They refused to fix the problem and charged a 256.00$ service charge up front before service guy would out again beware. Than Sears saved the day. Thank you
I called Sears to arrange for someone to come to find my non-working Maytag washer -- it suddenly quit. When the "technician," Clark, came out he went out, unplugged the washer, took the back off the controls and noticed some shredded paper inside the control box. ONLY shredded paper, a small amount of it. He announced that he couldn't go any further because of the danger of catching the hantavirus. Note -- there were no droppings, just a little shredded paper.
When I asked Clark what I was supposed to do, he flatly responded, "Buy a new one," as if the only solution was to have the hazmat team remove my washer. For that I paid my eighty bucks, and he left. This is when I realized why the washer stopped working -- I cleaned out the little bit of shredded paper from a wiring diagram in the control housing, NO DROPPINGS, and plugged the machine back in and realized the problem -- the "technician" didn't do the first basic thing -- push the reset button on the plug. IT WORKS FINE
The service repair man was as nice and polite as anyone could be, but unfortunately the rest of the experience was not a good one. They gave a 4 hour window, which was no problem. Then texted giving a 2 hour window...even better. Sounds good right...then an hour later got a message of a delayed time that would run 7 hour window...I called. The gal on the phone stated someone would call me..never got that call. They had indicated they would call before they were on their way...well this didn't happen. So expecting them now well after they were to be at the home, I wasn't there and I had a call the service man was at the house....well before expected. So which was it 4 hour window, 2 hour window or 7 hour window? I nearly lost it. I don't know what happened but this was crazy service. They placed me on hold for over 10 minutes and never came to the phone. The repairman, however when he did arrive was such a gentlemen. The office needs to get their act together.
Sears always has been and will be a premier service - its what they do best - my tech was clean and well groomed, friendly, informative and answered all my questions while still giving me a discount - I have never been disappointed and they stand by their work which is more than I can say for some other services I have received
My service call was excellent! I was told that they would be there between 8 to 12.
The tech called at 8:15 and was there at 8:30. Was very polite and knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He had the part on his truck and was done and on his way by 9:00.
