Customer service was not bad but the part i bought was. Bought a radiator from their which lasted a month then the transmission cooler line cracked and got tranny fluid all throughout my cooling system, now i have to get a new radiator and spend more money to flush my cooling system. First and last time i ever buy a part from there.
I am a single mom on a limited budget and needed to purchase a Fuel Pump to fix my car. I called several parts places to find out pricing and I choose a brand common to most stores (Airtex). To my surprise I was able to buy the same exact part for almost half...WOW!!...this tells me how much the mark up is at the BIG parts places. I will forever be a loyal customer because I see this small family owned business is trying to sell parts for a small profit with great customer service...I cant go wrong.
We live in Tube City made the trip to this store to buy one thing after talking to Robert a parts man found out we had a different problem he could have made a sale and keep going we went there looking to buy a $169 starter and only send $28 fix are truck this guy took his time to help us you can't find service like this any more
Sold us an alternator, and when I tried to exchange the 120 amp for the 90amp, because the 120amp that they suggested was too powerful, they said could not accept the exchange because the part was not theirs. So basically the part they sold us, was not one of THEIR brands that they sell in the first place. I got ripped off 184 dollars because their employees did not follow procedure in checking the parts before they sell them and they probably gave us someone else's wrongful exchange, giving a brand new customer the wrong product- again not following policy and procedures. What professionalism!

Customer of mine had her old mechanic install a remanufactured starter that he bought from this store. THE QUALITY OF THESE PARTS AT HIS LOW PRICE IS THE CHEAPEST JUNK YOU CAN FIND IN THIS COUNTRY. MY COMPLAINT IS NOT THE FIRST; RUMORS ARE UP AND DOWN THE STREET WHERE THIS BUSINESS IS LOCATED THAT HIS PARTS ARE JUNK. Three months later it internally caught fire and burned up the battery cable and the oxygen sensor wiring. I filed a labor complaint in writing with a one page statement to the owner personally and he filled out the paperwork and never submitted it for my refund of $250.00 to$300.00. I sent a copy of the statement certified letter also asking for the contact information to the facility where he buys his parts from so i can discuss the fire inside the starter. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS ISSUE. I called him and talked about it and his reply was ""I doubt it caught fire, starters dont usually do that"". My reply was ""Have you seen this starter yet?"" His reply was ""No"", I said ""dont say something when you have not seen the item yet""! He has declined to honor my request and will not turn in my warranty labor claim. I originally emailed the paperwork and 4 weeks later he calls me up and asks me for that paperwork, then denies he has it. I had been waiting for a reply from Mike wondering what was going on. Then during our exchange he says that i didnt get my statement to him in time and that he cant persue my claim now. I am a small business owner and have sat outside his store a couple times talking with customers who come there with many parts to be returned because they fail prematurely. LISTEN TO ME PEOPLE.......YOU ARE BUYING SOME OF THE CHEAPEST PARTS HE CAN GET HIS HANDS ON AND EVEN NEW CAR DEALERS LAUGH ABOUT HIS PARTS. MIKE IS IGNORING MY CLAIM.
THIS MAY BE A STORY FOR THE LOCAL TV MEDIA(ON YOUR SIDE) TO GET INVOLVED. THIS STATEMENT CAME FROM A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS OWNER WHO IS NEW TO THE AREA AND LEARNING FAST WHAT STORES THE LOCAL SHOPS WILL NOT BUY PARTS FROM.

for most people this place is great but if you want $100 steak for the price of hamburger then this is not the place for you the service is as good as any other place the differance is that ther is alot more customers being served and these are the people that need a place like this if they could afford to go to a mor expensive store I am sure they would I appreacite the people behind the counter they are doing the best they can anda as for me and my sons we always shop there first for any auto parts we need and we need a place like this Great JOB Pinny Pincher

I've used this place a couple of times and the parts are ok. What lacks is the customer service over the phone. When you call, its like the customer service rep just wants to get you of the phone and move to the next call. Very short answers and you get the impression that they are in a hurry. That made me go somewhere else this time. I hope it gets better because I would like to come back. Customer service is a BIG deal in my book and that would make the difference weather I shop at a place or not. Management should really consider this.

I recently found this place, Thank God, the prices compared to checker, auto zone or napa were from half to over half of what I had been quoted from these three auto parts stores.
The customer reps were friendly and very quick to find what I needed: radiator, radiator fan, cltuch master cylinder etc. Great system setup to serve the public, in and out in notime flat. Park on the west side of building.
Phone can be busy for long periods of time.

I ordered a part over the phone, went to pick it up and they ordered the wrong year---- went to the Manager, he said we don't carry the part you need---I said-No joke, Than why didn't you order it again but with the correct year this time, He again said, we don't carry it ? He was as dumb as the saleman, Took my business and went somewhere else, wasted three day waiting on my part These people who run this business, only cater to the Mexican community
I would suggest, don't waste your time with these Morons, go somewhere else, like Checker, Pep Boys, Auto Zone, Car Quest--You'll be much Happyer in the long run.
