O'Reilly Auto Parts

You have to expect incompetence from low paid employees but the bold faced lies and rudeness blew me away - like something from a Saturday Night Live skit. I ordered some high end specialty shocks for my Jeep which came in the next morning. When I tried to pick them up they refused to give them to me without a receipt - the same peson who took 30 to 45 mins to place my order and take my money the day before - the same person who was looking at my order on her screen complete with name, address and phone refused to give me my shocks as if she revelled in her power to stand behind ""policy"" and prove that ""thinking"" and ""Customer Service"" were dead in America. I've never take the time to complain about any business in my life but this was just too far over the top - no exaggeration, I couldn't make this stuff up. If they are publicly traded, I am going to short Oreilly/Checker tomorrow. At least I won't have to deal with losers like that when they go back on welfare which I used to criticize deeply but now I think it might be a worthwhile expense to keep people like these away from the public - in fact, if we could prevent them from breeding, it would be worth paying them double to just stay home and get even fatter

I brought back a top of the line battery to checker yesterday 9/7/2010 and expected the warrenty to be no problem. I bought thie battery for two resons:
1. The promisse that this would not fail,
2. The warrenty if it did.
Well it did fail and then the fun started. They first tried to give me an extreme battery back like I would have expected, but that did not fir. The battery I return now was worth $109 with the prorating and they gave me a battery back worth only $69 and then the manager did not want to talk to me again. Go accross the street to Autozone....
