If you own a Bodyshop and NAPA comes knocking. BE WARNED! I let NAPA into my shop to demonstrate a new WATERBORNE paint system. The first job was a bumper cover on an old chevy cavalieer. That turned out good so next we tried a fender red toyota corolla. That job turned out not as good as the cavalieer because the color was a little off but all in all o.k. Then came the last car a 2008 Dodge Avenger that needed the back of the car painted and blended up to the back doors. O.K. so this job turned out bad. Poor color match , terrible blend and very poor clearcoat finish. (dull and die back ) Now the car needs not only repainted but extended beyond and into the doors. Mike at NAPA offered to have his rep come into our facility and redo it with Sherwin Wiliams Base Clear. No Thank You was my reply I need a result now that is completely in MY control and here is a itemizied invoice for what it cost to make the job good. $ 850.00 Now Mike @ NAPA and the Sherwin Williams are supposed to "get back to me" with what ever they think Sherwin Williams can offer. I also had another bad experience with a so called SHOCK PROMOTION were you pay $100.00 and recieve a point of sale kit. The deal is The customer buys 3 and gets 1 FREE. Well the first vehicle that I get for that service comes in and so I call NAPA and guess what? The counter sales guy dosen't even know about the promotion! I have had it with NAPA.
