Initially, I was not pleased with what I ended up with, which was nothing like I asked the girl doing my hair (Chelsea), but then I phoned back the next day and the manager, Lenore accommodated me and rescheduled and put me with one of her senior stylists to fix it. She went over and above and was extremely kind. She was also kind enough to hold my baby during my visit.

Matthew was very kind and helpful! Unfortunately, this studio is not equipped to photograph babies in any sort of capacity: my babies were simply placed on a bean bag and that's as far as it went! No different poses, children over the age of 2 weren't corrected to sit properly to avoid an awkward arm: I didn't understand the whole scenario of having an appointment if, while we were in the session the manager told the girl taking the pix: to hurry us up! Total waste of $$$ won't go back, do not recommend this location to anyone: manager was also talking down to employee while in our presence! Try are also taught to spend time with is trying to up sell despite the fact we were perfectly clear on what package we wanted to purchase: please do not waste your money or time: I could have taken the same pix this girl took: no effort whatsoever to attempt to get the pix to look nice:( my advice- don't bother!!!

Not so impressed

They really hype up their salon so it sounds high-end but I found the whole experience to be rather boring. Talk about overpriced! The salon is hard to find at the back of a crowded store(in a rather dull shopping center) and most of the girls working weren't even wearing aprons or name tags. I will say that had good products but it was just too much, do they really need 20 diff. brands? It got way too confusing that I didn't buy anything. As for the service, the girl was nice but it wasn't much of an experience. They obviously force them to meet a quota because I could tell she was rushing and it just wasn't enjoyable. Overall, I'd say you're better off going to Great Clips or Fantastic Sams if you want the same cut for less. Next time I'll be spending that kind of money at a reputable salon, one I don't have to go through a maze to get to. JCP Salon, you really need a reality check if you think people want to pay those prices for chop shop service. And buy your girls some aprons too!
