It's a small shop from the outside and you could drive right by it, which I did. On the inside it is really a nice sized store that is well equiped with all your weapon needs. The staff are very knowlegable but alittle rude and indifferent wether they make the sale or not. Their hand guns are over priced genally from what I looked at by 20 percent. They do carry some very hard to fin d guns and was able to find three out four guns that I had been unable to find anywhere else. They will work with you on some of the pricing depending on the gun. They carry most every bullet you would need and they are alittle over priced also but for the convenience I payed the price on two seperate occasions. In gas alone searching for the equipment you need, it's worth the saving of time and gas to just get everything you need at one stop. The store is on the south west corner Of Colter and 19th Ave in Blue Letters.
I wanted to thank everyone at Shooters World for their time and patience they took with my wife and I when shopping for a weapon. We had looked at some other stores in the area but nobody wanted to take the time to find out what we needed. They assumed we were experienced shooters and was just standing by the cash register waiting for us to buy something. The people at Shooters World took the time to find out what our needs were and suggested a couple different options. Customer service was key and not only did we buy, we referred our neighbor and he ended up buying 2 guns there also. It’s nice to not be taken for granted and treated like a friend and not just another paying customer.
I have been coming to this gun shop for years. The old guys are a group of guys that hang out in the morning in what is referred to as the cowboy room. They all know each other and meet there everyday. They can be intimidating at first, but really are a decent and friendly group. I hate to see the prior bad review on such a great store just because of this. It is a great shop and if I want to see something in that room, I just walk in there and look. The shop has new and used guns and always something nee to look at when I go in. This is my favorite gun store.
No problems with having two pistols worked on, replaced the sights on both. One had to go back to Ruger for trigger work, they took care of all aspects and it wasn't that long of a wait. Head Smith was friendly, as was an assistant that helped me resight the guns.. Price was reasonable. Only issue was I also wanted to change the sights on a Tokarav (Norinco Model 213) and they didn't seem to want to do that. Any one with ideas, please post a review.
My family lives in Scottsdale but we shoot at Shooters World because they are very "family" oriented. You don't have to be a commando wanna-be to shoot there. My wife and I both took our concealed weapons class there and their instructors were excellent. The ammo prices were right in line with everyone elses prices and they stock guns that I can actually afford. We found the air to be clean and cool.
I had a case separation (cartridge blew up in the barrel) and couldn't remove the brass. Weapon Works not only removed the broken round, they polished and cleaned the receiver, checked and adjusted the head space and installed new rollers on the bolt of my CETME .308, all for a lot less than I was expecting to have to pay. These guys know their stuff. I'll be back with any future gun concerns.
Went into this shop for the 1st time last week. Really nice store with a lot to look at. The prices were pretty good too. The service was the best I have ever experienced in a gun store. The salesgirl who helped me even printed out information on where I could get a concealed weapons permit. I will buy my gun form this store. I was treated like my business really mattered to them.
Larry Stafford is an honest and conscientious gunsmith. Quality work, reasonable rates and a heartfelt dedication to his work. I was very happy and my shotgun was very happy . I would not hesitate to use Pearl Firearms again. I highly recommend this business.
I was looking for a gun for my husband but had no idea what I was doing. When you walk in they have thousands of guns which was confusing but the staff made it extremely easy for me to find something within my budget that was still something that he wanted!! Very helpfull!!
If you want the best price for a new gun, this is the place to go. Besides his prices, Shane is a great guy who treats you like a friend and will help you find what you want. Big mistake if you don't stop by.
