I have been having pain in both sides of my breasts for some time. My monthly self breasts exam I could feel lump's going all the way under my arm pits. I informed the mammogram lady that I was hurting and touching these areas were painful. It was like talking to a wall. After the mammogram they did an altra- sound. Once again I let the lady know that it was hurtful upon touching theses area's. I marked on the intake form that I felt lump's. The mammogram lady crossed this out saying there are no lump's. The testing came back normal. I went to a surgeon and upon his exam he instantly felt the lump's, bumps, masses, he labeled them serve fibroids (long medical terminology) that I am unable to pronounce. My question is if I can feel these masses and there discomfort & the surgeon can feel them how can they say exams were normal?When I had my Cat-scan done for my lungs & got the report it was like it had been copied and pasted from the prior Cat-scan from another site that no longer took my health care plan.My bone density report by no means showed what the prior one did either.Very deceiving! I wish my insurance company would demand from them to repay what they were billed for.My health issues are valid and have be validated by prior exams. Yet, they apparently believe they are above the laws and can discredit the truth of my state of health and take the insurance payment.All the while I am left fighting for further exam's to relieve me of my pain.
Disappointed with sloppy billing department and poor error correction - I had a procedure done in January of 2014. It was incorrectly coded as "infertility" leading my insurance company to deny it. When i called AZ Tech Radiology asking them to resubmit the claim with corrected coding, I thought the matter was fixed.Then...two months later, I found that my bill had been submitted to collections for my failure to pay it. This is a huge hassle for me, and it was based on THEIR initial error.
This place is ridiculous! I took my daughter her for a back x-ray because they said I would not wait more than 10 minutes. I WAITED NEARLY AN HOUR to be called back. There were only 4 people in the waiting room, no one was called back for a good 45 minutes. When I finally received my services, I got a bill because they "lost my insurance info". So unprofessional! NEVER AGAIN
