If you are JIFFY LUBE customers – PLEASE BE AWARE of their sloppy work. I have visited the JIFFY LUBE on 48th Street and Warner Rd. for more than 10years. The last two oil changes have convinced me NEVER AGAIN will my car see a Jiffy Lube. I threatened NOT to return after they broke the glove box in my car, and left greasy hand prints on the console and seat (I do not drink beverages or eat in my car for the purposes of keeping the interior nice and clean).I DID RETURN!! What a mistake. Not only did they charge me an arm and a leg, close to$60.00, but they almost released the car to me with replacing the “shield” on the bottom of the car. At the last minute they told me “Oops, we forgot the shield – it will be a little longer”. When I got in the car – they failed to filled the window washer reservoir as I requested. “Oops, we forgot”.When I got home, oil was leaking on the driveway. JIFFY LUBE FORGOT TO CHANGE THE GASKET (which is a must every time you change the oil)– AND OIL WAS SPILLING OUT!!!!!!!! I huge thanks to the Hyundai dealerhip who checked to see what the problem was - they gave me a NEW OIL CHANGE, and a GASKET - for free . They are receiving ONE (1) star... because YELP will not allow ZERO STARS, which this company deserves. Actually... I would prefer giving them -10 !!!!!
This place sucks! I came in on 3/26/13. I drove up, a older mexican man approached me. He did not speak english and I told him that I wanted a tune up. He quoted me $100 right off the bat. Not sure if he pulled that number out of nowhere or if thats their basic charge for tune ups. There were no prices listed for any of their services inside the office or outside on the building. After handing thr mechanic my keys and him telling me it would be 40 mins I walked inside. Immediately I saw 3 employees sitting down in an office behind their clear plexi glass. All three of them looked at me and said nothing! I sat down. All 3 employees throughout my stay walked passed me and said nothing. These people have no customer service skills and could care less how their guest are treated. As I paid for my service, Ruby took my payment. I said to her, "How are you today" she replied and I told her it would have been nice if someone would have greeted me when I came in. Ruby did not even respond. Not even a sorry or anything! I know she spoke english because I heard her talking earlier. The only person that waz nice to me and waved as I left was the spanish speaking mechanic. I will never go back there! Awesome engine! it took a little longer than expected, but the wait was well worth it! definitley will keep there number for future projects!
