Delux is a staple in Biltmore. Mouth-watering, fresh food that always satisfies my cravings for a good burger or winding down on a late social night. Their cart of fries and shakes go hand-in-hand - Delicious!
Joe and Joan opened at the original location in the teeth of the worst economic downturn in 70 years. They moved to this location after a few years. Joe was trained at the California Culinary Institute in San Francisco, then cooked and baked at several locations, including Pastry Chef at The Boulders in Cave Creek AZ.When he began his own business, Joe brought Cordon Bleu skills to American Cafe cooking. Jams and apple butter are made weekly, croissants and bread are baked here, sauces and gravies are made fresh daily. We are steady customers here, Joe's is on our Wednesday breakfast local restaurant circuit. Give Joe's a try. My favorite sandwich is the chicken salad croissant.
Best service in the entire phoenix area I love this place its the only starbucks I go to entirely amongst all of az I love the chi latte there completely hot everytime
Great customer service! The two men that were working were friendly, polite, and provided excellent service.
I was very disappointed because I had heard how great this place was really good. Location is great, artwork is cool, the comfortable chairs and decor are great. Service was TERRIBLE! The place was empty, and the staff were sitting behind the counter chatting about personal stuff that we really didn't want to listen to. I had to walk up to them and ask for help at least 3 times. If I were alone i would have walked out- but I was on a date ( this was so embarrassing) .Needless to say we ordered food and drinks- breakfast to be exact. The potatoes were dry and over cooked. The eggs tasted like they came out of a microwave and were left in too long. Rubbery at best. The staff was rude and were more interested in their personal stuff then paying customers. owner or Management you really need to train your people!
I have not been to this PARTICULAR La Casitas, but in the 1960's. the one on Central and Buckeye was THE BEST Mexican food that I have EVER put into my mouth !!!!! I will give them four stars in memory of MY La Casitas.
Coffees are always quick and the pastries are always stocked. It makes quick stops convenient and never late.
