        From the time that the first The Doctor Is In location opened in Clinton, New Jersey, in 1987 to the launch of new branches in Flemington and Philipsburg, New Jersey, all the way until the present day, the goal remains the same: delivering convenient and reasonably priced family medical care in a welcoming environment. The Doctor Is In team offers care for all ages, including family medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, and aesthetics services such as laser hair removal, body sculpting, and wrinkle reduction. The Doctor Is In team includes Randy Klein, MD, the medical director, and practicing physician, along with board-certified physicians and physician assistants. While patients are welcome to walk in for care at any time, they can also schedule visits at their convenience. Most health care providers who offer this type of flexible care limit services to urgent care only, but The Doctor Is In team is happy to offer comprehensive primary care services, management of chronic conditions, and aesthetics services in one place.         I brought my daughter last night as she has flu symptoms, fever, chills, headache, earchache, sore throat, we went there because her HMO is in NY. They turned us away, said we had to pay the entire bill and would not use our insurance card. Told us she wasn't sick enough to be considered under urgent care. I explained that i had called the ins company and they recommended we go to urgent care. but, the receiptionist didn't want to hear it. just told us it was $150 plus any throat cultures, etc. She recommended we go to the emergency room or try another urgent care. Really disappointed in the treatment i received. especially with a sick child.

        Overall

        Don't ever go here. I went in with an emergency as the name says urgent care and it is the closest emergency place to where I live and they turned me away. They said they had appointments and I could drive to their Clinton location 20 minutes away. It was an emergency and they did not follow their oath on non-maleficence, in this case they did harm they allowed a person having an emergency to leave. Is that a place you trust? I don't and I will never step foot in there again
