Long John's Resort & Rv Park

Upon walking into Cabin #2 we were met with an incredibly moldy smell. I decided to open up every window and get it aired out. The windowsills were resting places for dead bugs and almost every screen had multiple holes covered by duct tape. While I was opening windows, my friend used the bathroom and exclaimed out loud as she nearly fell off the loosely mounted, slanted toilet. As we walked throughout the cabin, we noticed the floor was unstable and uneven in many places with a level change to the bedroom and a number of soft spots in the subfloor.

That night neither of us slept a wink. It probably didn't help that we needed to kill a dozen spiders in the bathroom and bedroom before retiring for the evening. Both of us grew up in very modest households, frequently camping and "roughing it", but this experience wasn't charming or rustic, it was filthy and neglected.
