About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Dimitria Energy Services

Just coming into Dimitria's energy field is a rejuvenating experience! This was my first energy and chakra reading experience and Dimitria's calm, yet vibrant light made it instantly comforting and easy to let go! The physical space is peaceful and calming. I especially enjoyed the option to lay down, which made it easier to relax during our mid-day session and gave me a boost of energy to get through the remainder of my day. Dimitria talked about things I was most anxious about and was really accurate. In addition, she gave me techniques to use at home. It was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone in pursuit of making an upward shift in their personal growth. We all need to give ourselves the gift of self love and there is no better way to begin than with a session with Dimitria!

I worked with Prodigy Staffing Solutions as a contractor for one of their clients and was placed by Brian Rotter. I was not only paid for holidays but given paid vacations days as well during my contract period. I am now am a fulltime employee of the company that I contracted for and owe everything to Brian Rotter and Prodigy Staffing Solutions and would recommend them to anyone who is seeking employment.Lou

Congreso De Unidos Youth Service
Betsy O. rated

Please Please please do not donate your time or money to this corporation. Specifically their education division. They are suppose to provide tutoring and after school care as well as summer camp. Congresso is a community staple in the hispanic urban neighborhood of north philly and are very well known to provide the community with eductional resources and work support but lately they have been lacking to do so , well. As a teacher I have seen their employees of the after school program and summer camp leave children unsupervised and not help them with homework or academics. Employees are on their cell phones while students are vandalizing teachers personal property that they have purchased. They vandalize the beautiful classroom that are lent to them to use by the school that your children are taught in during the day. Not taking any responsibility for their lack of supervision , responsibility and classroom management. I have been a victim of their classroom vandalism . As a professional teacher who has worked in the same building as this corporation I strongly advise that you do NOT use their services for your child. You will be left very disappointed and your child possibly hurt and definitely uneducated. They need to work on their hiring process for these programs. The director is horrible and the employees are not trained. They need to be shut down before a child is hurt.

South Street Police Mini Station
Vashti B. rated

Last week, Officer Diehl of the 9th mini-station was extremely helpful in working with pet rescue on behalf of a kitten that was being neglected. With the officer's help, we were able to get the kitten life saving medical treatment. Later on, when I visited the mini-station to say thank you, all of the officers were very welcoming and kind. This experience was an example of police work done right, and I am grateful to the officers at the mini-station on 905 South Street for helping to make this happen.

Liars that want money only

I'm so happy I can write a review. The worst thing is to have high hopes In finding a decent job and GOING there to find that it's a little fishy. My husband went down there because we read a posting on Craigslist like the comment before me claiming housekeeping service for 14 per hour. Before my husband even went we called and the man was grumpy ans not very nice. But anyway he went in to ask them about the day old posting about housekeeping and they said the position wasn't available anymore and he'd have to pay $100. It just seemed like a scam so he didn't fill out the form which includes giving your ss #. Just a complete waste of time. 8 hours later I'm on Craigslist job searching and guess what I see? Same posting as if the job still available. ..as of it even exists. Don't waist your time. If u want a Real recruiter you don't pay a dime and they do find you jobs because companies pay them to find employees.

Pal Employment

seems too good to be true because it is

I found out about Pal through a craigslist that advertised hotel housekeeping/hospital housekeeping/food service jobs that were $14/hr, no experience necessary. All you had to do was pay a (non-refundable) $99 fee. This is in no way a temp or employment agency. Upon registering, you have to come to them between the hours of 9AM and 2PM Monday-Friday. They offer leads that are not publically advertised on the web but that's about the only appeal. All the jobs that pay $14/hr are online application only and the jobs that are in person applications are under $14/hr (usually $12 or $11). These lesser paying ones are usually hotel housekeeping and located an hour outside of Philadelphia (Essington, NE Phil). Not to mention the directions they give you to go to these jobs are usually incomplete / incorrect. The people who work there are not necessarily mean but they can be a bit gruff. They'll send you out for up to three months like this, and then the service is no longer valid. Whether or not you get anything from it is completely on you, but thus far I can say I'm seriously kicking myself for wasting $99 when I really could not afford to.
