Mr Abraham is an absolute wonderful person. very helpful. On the job when its comes to maintenance issues. Great landlord.
The property manager and real estate agent Amberlynn Kabana (Alli), is EXTREMELY unprofessional. I would NOT recommend renting from Peer Property Management. There is a mix of owners and renters in our development which makes it rough because the renters don't care about keeping the place nice. There is a constant smell of weed inside the building and weird people in and out at all hours. The walls/floors are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors. Amber does not seem to care about anything despite numerous complaints and refuses to give me the owner's phone number. DO NOT RENT OR BUY FROM THIS COMPANY (RPM BUILDERS / PEER PROPERTY MGMT).
AWFUL. Workers do not know any information and time and time again told me false information that led me to the current law suit I'm in. When I renewed my lease, my rent went down but unfortunately that wasn't communicated to the people in charge of swiping my card so I was overcharged for months. When I finally realized it and said something, they said an accountant would get back to me but never did. I got an eviction notice. Thankfully I work in a law office with lawyers ready to assist me with an appeal.
I would never suggest this place to anyone. Harrassing neighbors and bedbug/roach infested. He knows
PLEASE READ MY REVIEW AND DO NOT RENT OR BUY HERE. I LIVED HERE FOR 5 YEARS. YOU WILL REGRET IT!Peer Property Management & Rpm Builders has been sued from various tenants 4 times in the last 2 years. Recently sued on 10/24/2016 for $12,000.Search SC-16-09-12-4024 or the court link I provide for "Moshe Peer" and "Peer Property Management" https://fjdclaims.phila.gov/phmuni/login.do#Search Yelp and Google and you will see other poor reviews. Peer Property buildings appear beautiful on the outside, but the buildings are unkept, poorly constructed and managed. Maintenance requests take months to answer, buildings are damaged by movers and left unfixed, drug deals going on, loud rooftop parties, cracking tile floors, roof decks don't drain properly, roof leaks, and your security deposit will be kept with little or no excuse. PLEASE DO RESEARCH AND DO NOT RENT OR BUY HERE.
Unfortunately, I have to give a star in order to complete the review process on this site, though even one star is misleading. Our office space at 1528 Walnut Street has been broken into twice in the past four months which has been met with total disregard and apathy. When we called to have our locks changed because of a break-in, we were asked why. When we replied that 'wouldn't anyone want a lock changed after a break-in' we were met with "don't get all ironic on me" by whomever the head, go-to guy is at ASI. Not too smart. On so many levels. The owner of the company, Alex Schwartz, has yet to communicate with us or show up when called upon. As the owner of a business, I cannot imagine anyone tolerating that kind of management. We'd be out of the business! As far as other concerns, we've had rodents in the building with little interest by management, of the six elevators in the building, often only one or two elevators work each day if we're lucky (it can take 15 minutes to get upstairs). As if that weren't bad enough, each member of our staff has been stuck in an elevator at least once. We've been in the building for 5 years- there's no end in sight. Our bathrooms are only sometimes cleaned, and one door-person in particular uses her shift time as sleep time. Totally neglected property, unresponsive ownership, no accountability of management. Run the other way! We cannot wait to move in under a month to a professional, cared-for building with a responsive team we're proud to be a part of.
Very inept and callous people ready to blame you for their mistakes.Worse than dealing with the VA or Motor Vehicles !!
"In 2011, Iron Stone purchased a slew of apartment buildings in Philly after the old landlord fell behind on payments. [They] acquire[d] buildings... right on the edge of West Philly's gentrification: ...they were ready to... "execute solid acquisition, operation, and exit strategies."... Since acquiring these buildings, life has gotten worse for their residents.... Meanwhile, Iron Stone created a new regime to keep people in line: surveillance, fees, and insults.... But tenants in Iron Stone owned buildings are pushing for big changes....On 08/29/2016, they went public, bringing fifty tenant-signed letters to Iron Stone that demand Iron Stone negotiate with the Philly Tenants Union so tenants can win decent homes, have their wins protected, and keep a voice in how their buildings are run."As of 09/20/2016 neither the ownership or management have contacted the Philly Tenants Union in regards the signed demand letters. https://goo.gl/MpBCed
Roaches for months and terrible management with no one above the local director to talk to. Also, dirty in the common areas and outside around the property.
I worked at Posel Management from 1968 when we opened the Premier Theatre at Neshaminy Mall, and stayed employed by them till 2007.What a fine group of professionals.ALWAYS treating mW fairly
