Very clean! The girl who works there is so nice! Always ask me about my day! They know everyone by name !
Front of the store clearly promotes $1.50 24 oz Icehouse Beers. Go inside to buy two and it comes up $3.50. I question cashier about why it's not $3 and the owner throws an attitude yelling and calling me a cheapass. Granted it's only 50 cents but as the owner you're still supposed to honor the price you promote to your paying customers. Either honor the price outside the store or take the $1.50 sign down at the front of your store so potential customers don't get the wrong idea. Either way you don't yell and insult paying customers the way you yelled and insulted me when you're supposed to address your customers concerns with respect. I suggest walking a few blocks to TD Beer over at Torresdale and Sanger and giving the polite Asian people who run their Chinese Food/Beer Takeout place your beer money instead of the ungrateful and rude owner that runs Bridges. Avoid Bridges don't give this rude owner your hard earned money.
Great place great people great hookah great food good owners and overall great time Thanks for the advise about Lebanese food
Best neighborhood bar in South Philly. Friday night is Karaoke night with Karaoke Host DJ Lars. At 9 pm. Saturday live music. And The First Saturday of every month is The Famous Rage Band 3 pm. No Cover.

Higher priced than other local bars. Very cramped interior. Not a great place if you're looking to hit the bars.
I went here for a friend's birthday and it COULD have been a very nice time and by reading other reviews, I don’t stand alone. The food was good and the wait staff was friendly. We had a reservation for 8 at 7pm. 4 of us showed up at 10 mins to 7, and we waited until 7:20pm to be seated.. This didn’t bother me so much, since we were a larger party, the restaurant was busy, and we were waiting on a few others to show. After we were seated, we ordered appetizers, entrees, as well as desserts. Our bill came to close to $400. Literally within SECONDS of us handing the check over the waiter, the owner came over and told us we needed to leave. It took a few minutes to let these words soak in, as I have never experienced such rudeness in my life. We had been seated for just over an hour and a half and we still had wine left in the majority of our glasses. The waiter came over and told us not to worry about. About 3 mins later, the manager walked over to the waiter who was standing right by our table and said “You have my permission to clear this table and seat 6 others”. It then got heated. I told him he was being rude, he told me he was being nice and having a private conversation with his waiter, I told him again he was being rude and it is not a private conversation, we are sitting right here for us to hear you, and you had just told us we had to leave no more than 5 mins ago. He told me he was trying to be nice and there are people waiting to be sat. He walked away, and not that it makes it right, but we had a clear view of the waiting area for the restaurant as well as outside and there was no more than 2 people waiting (if that’s what they were even doing). Another 2 mins after that, Just as I was finishing my last sip of wine, he came over to our table, raised his voice and told us to “Get up, up up! You need to leave! We have people waiting! You have been here long enough! Get off my property now!” It was appalling and embarrassing. In front of a packed restaurant, our group was being kicked out for NO reason. We had overstayed our hour and a half welcome. We were not loud, drunk, or rowdy. We tipped an additional 20% ON TOP of the 20% gratuity they automatically tacked on (Our waiter was extremely friendly, and this was BEFORE the owner decided we needed to leave). We were not there for hours, not even 2. And this whole situation went down in less than 10 mins. This owner is nothing but a chauvinist, greedy, jerk and I will NEVER go back to this restaurant again and I hope others choose to not eat there either. There are plenty of other BYOB Italian restaurants that deserve your service. Please read the reviews before making a reservation. If I could give it a half of star, I would.
Our party of 8 arrived to a half-empty restaurant on a Saturday night. Our waiter promptly opened our wine and presented us with menus that had very little in common with the one posted on the LOca website. He then proceeded to tell us that they had run out of steak and chicken (it was only 8:00) and offered limited alternatives. Although some were disappointed, we placed orders for salads, pasta and seafood dishes. One of the women in the crowd has severe gluten, dairy and seafood allergies and had confirmed the availability of gluten free pasta in advance. Since the only meat dish available was "rabbit" (not quite to her liking), and the only gluten pasta dish offered on the menu was accompanied by a cheese topping, she requested that the pasta be made plain with other toppings on the side. The waiter (an innocent party) asked the chef and came back to say that there would be no changes to anything on the menu - take it or leave it. I then spoke directly to the assistant chef (the chefs english is evidently limited) who said he would make an exception. However, a few minutes later the waiter returned to the table to say that the chef was still refusing to prepare a plain bowl of pasta. We told the waiter that we would have to leave rather than have one of our party unable to eat, and the waiter said that the chef wouldnt budge. So we stood up and left. As we exited the door located by the kitchen area the chef began shouting at us to "go away" and "get out". The entire experience was surreal and almost funny in retrospect, and luckily there are plenty of other restaurants in center city to choose from (we ended up going to The Palm due to the late hour). This is the first restaurant review I have ever written and the message is STAY AWAY!!
