Now that I'm in high school, I figure I can review the school I went to for middle school. Yeah, uh, its not that good.... like most schools in Philadelphia. If you aren't black or Spanish, you get bullied beyond belief. The white principal, is scared of the black kids, and yeah, he doesn't punish them, they run the school, kids cut all the time and nobody cares. The teachers, the white ones who actually want the kids to learn, I feel so bad for them. They suffer major abuse from the kids. They Are getting called crackers and honkies everyday. The food is fine I guess but not enough to save the school. The school is in poor condition. The cops, they are all African American and hang out with the bad kids, it's just a bad school.
Very bad job the adminisstrative staff are very very disrespectful and not well spoken. Even doe i still work there im still going to give my opinion about how the work field would be if you where ever to work there
school police are great and the students are good and the food is good and the school is clean the gym is cool .
this is a church which teaches the true doctrine of the bible and give you the right content of how to make heaven
I am trying to get my son transferred to another school horrible always fights and bullying .My son last 2 teachers for the last two years were horrible I always ask for help for him and they can care less. Another student threaten himwith a weapon and the school never did anything
These guys (and gals) are fantastic teachers, great with kids, great with adults, great at training students on the performance aspect of rocking on stage, and OH YEAH -great- musicians :-) I've been taking both voice and drum lessons since Feb 2014, and have made consistent progress as well as leaps forward in my skill level and personal confidence. It's hard to find a place with a solid adult program that also has solid kids programs, and Philly School of Rock has both.I'm a pretty picky guy, and shopped around a bit (including interviewing a few students from various schools and private instructors) before I even bothered with an intro lesson --which I highly recommend doing by the way. Discover it for yourself. This is the -real- deal, you too can be like Jack Black in Tribute: "...and we said 'Nay, we are but men... ROCK!'"
