Slum lord of Philadelphia. Yelson is known as not even liscensed to rent out houses and they still try to scam they're victims. Avoid at all costs. Don't even think about trying to rent from them unless you have a death wish. Theres an array of other proper and legal established real estate companies in philly who one can pick from. Do not rent from these scum.
PMG is somewhere between a slumlord and a poorly run company with no concern for its clients, the renters.Look at the mission statement on their web site. They are only concerned with increasing the bottom line for the property owners they represent.They should realize that this is a renter's home and is an important part of her life. To them you are just a piece of meat paying rent. But this is your home, you have a right to be comfortable to your standard for the significant rent you are paying. The place needs to be maintained in a timely fashion.Once you sign your lease expect to treated like a dog. Your maintenance calls won't be answered. If they do respond they will try to counter your issue saying it is not valid so they don't have to fix it. They may enter your apartment without notice.If you submit a maintenance request you won't hear back from them at all. Then out of the blue they may send an unscheduled incompetent contractor to look at your issue and tell you it is your fault. They have an online portal that looks very snazzy but it is not kept up to date with the status of maintenance requests or rent you have paid.They are woefully understaffed, with one rude person answering the maintenance requests for the large number of properties they represent. Your call goes to voicemail most of the time and they close the office without any notice.Buyer beware. Before submitting your deposit, check all of the faucets, windows, heating, cooling, stove, etc. to make sure that everything works.
Renting from the Marlen Yelson Corporation is the worst idea. They are by far the worst landlords I have ever had. First, they never ever answer their phones or email, unless they wanted money from you. Their office hours was only 10 to 2 M-F with a 2 hour lunch break in the middle. It was impossible address any maintenance issues. We spent a month without the stove/oven or the disposal. We had to wash dishes in the tub a couple of times. Dealing with getting the security deposit back was a nightmare. They still have not answered any of my emails, and I just received this today. We moved out 32 days before this check was dated (against the law in PA where they need to return the security deposit within 30 days). Their reasoning for what was withheld is also completely ridiculous. I scrubbed that kitchen (which came dirty to begin with) until it was as spotless as possible, the bathroom also has mold caked on there, it needed to be addressed years ago, but apparently, that is our fault. Lastly, we hung shelves in the apartment because of the lack of storage space, and decided to do a nice thing by cutting the time to repair the walls in half (I do this regularly for my job) by spackling. I did not have the time to wait for them to dry to sand them, but I figured it was still a huge help. It does not cost $675 in labor or materials to sand and paint over speckled holes. I could have done it myself in 15 minutes with the right paint. Would they have preferred giant holes in their walls and to spend more time and money to fix it, or would we just have been charged more? (also illegal, since they cannot charge for usual wear and tear, such as hanging shelves and pictures). On top of all of this, their note is EXTREMELY rude. If this security deposit was more money, I would take them to court. They are horrible people to work with, and will try to take as much money as possible from you. Do not rent from them if you can help it.
Terrible! I paid a $35 application fee, and my credit came back good. The realtor assured me that if I returned the next day at the arranged time with a cashier's check for the first month's rent, I could sign the lease. The next day, after spending a $2 fee for the cashier's check, I went back to the office EARLY, and they inform me that they already rented the apartment to someone else. They didn't even have the courtesy to call me. I asked for my money back, and they refused. I highly recommend against using this company.
I had a wonderful experience at Falconland Tax Centers. I went to them for the first time three years ago and found that they relocated to 6622 Castor Avenue, 19149. They have some spanish speaking employees making it easier for my mother who came along with me to express her concerns. I will highly recommend this business to anyone looking to file their taxes by true professionals!
I recently purchased a duplex that was previously managed by Hadar Realty. After the closing, one of the tenants mailed their monthly rent to Hadar Realty in error. A month and several conversations with Eric later (who would not answer my questions and eventually hung up on me), they are still refusing to refund the payment. Unprofessional and crooked are the only fitting words to describe this "business".
Do not Rent from them. They are a scam agency. Predatory practices. If you're late on your rent just five days they are in court evicting you. They represent slumlords.. BEWARE. . THEY WILL SCAM YOU outta you're Security Deposit. They are Not a Respectable Business! STAY FAR AWAY FROM TKS COMPANY!
