I've been going to Yoga on Main for the past year because it is just convenient. Yoga there is okay; you really don't work up a sweat and it is more about mediating. A couple of the instructors are really picky about your form and others could care less. Something is just missing at this place. The vibe is not client focused here, I feel like they just want to make money. It is a little pricey for the quality. (15 bucks for an hour and half class). The first half an hour they just talk about all the upcoming costly retreats they are holding. So it usually just ends up being a hour class.
Also, don't sign up for any of the the retreats! I signed up for a costly retreat which they canceled a month before it was to start. The plane ticket is not refundable.... The manager Shiva Das didn't even have the nerve to talk to me personally about it. He called me on the phone and left the horrible news on my voice mail after taking a class with him the night before. I called back three times and still haven't heard anything from them. I understand things have to be canceled but I am just dumbfounded about how they handled it. I'm sad to say that my Yoga on Main days are over.

Yoga on Main is truely the best yoga center in the city if you want to experience both the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. All of the instructors are awesome, especially David Newman, the owner of the center. Classes with David are what yoga's about.
