T J Dempsey Co Inc

I went here about a year ago for the first time to check out their selection and basically just run around having some fun. I'm a girl and I have yet to find another comic shop that made me feel less welcome, even in the country. When I walked in no one said 'hello, can I help you?' as surely one of the people in there had to have been an employee. There wasn't anything to hear, I could just feel their collective held breath as I browsed their shelves for about a minute before I left, not sure if I wanted to cry of throw something through their window.

I wouldn't recommend this place to any female comic nerds, if you want something they have you might want to send in your boyfriend or brother to purchase it for you.
