Sayre High School operates under The School District of Philadelphia, which also governs various other schools, such as Central High School, Northeast High School and Widener Memorial School. The high school educates more than 1,000 students every year in grades nine through 12. Located in Philadelphia, Sayre High School offers classes in a wide range of subjects, including foreign languages, science, economics, statistics, and world history and geography. In addition, the school provides a variety of fine art classes, band, music and choir classes. It organizes various sporting activities, including football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, track and cross country. Sayre High School has a wide range of clubs that include chess, computer, graphic design and mural arts club.
