Philadelphia Brewing Co.

This brewery is no longer called ""Yard's"". Philadelphia Brewing Co. is the new name for the brewery. Great tour and great beers. The facility is quite amazing as the brewery was built in the 1800's. The tour guide takes you right into the brewery where can watch the brewers making beer. The tasting room is also quite amazing and they let you sample all of the beers for free. I saw people hanging out most of the afternoon that looked like locals. I was able to learn about some great places to go in the evening that I would have found out otherwise.

Best tour in the world!!! Oh, and the beer is nice too.

Free samples plus beer edu'ma'cation? An afternoon at Yards is pretty much a complete and unique beer experience. Plus - Bill and Nancy are deeply involved in the local community scene. What's not to love??

Visit Yards on a Saturday and have a fun day!

Great Tour

Great free attraction. Tour of the pre-prohibition facility and friendly atmosphere back at the tasting room were a great way to spend an hour or so on a rainy Saturday.
